Daughter and Daddy Time

Chris's POV

Well the men's auditioning has just ended and wow, it was challenging. Some men actually cried when they didn't make it.

Tomorrow will be the women's auditioning and I can't wait.

It's only 8:30 and i'm already exhausted.
I leave the dance studio and make my way back into my all black Mercedes heading back home.

"Daddy! Daddy! I missed you so much!" Royalty runs up to me with open arms, greeting me with a hug and kiss. "Me and nanny had so much fun! We went to the acrade and ate lots of ice cream!"

I pick up Royalty and smile widely at the nanny.

She takes good care of my babygirl while I'm working and she cooks. I really appreciate her. Don't get me wrong, she's a good nanny and all, but I also get weird vibes around her.

She gets a little too clingy around me at times as if she's my wife or something. Some days before I go to bed, I can feel her watching me. I can't explain it, but I always know to keep my distance and to keep things at a business level.

"Daddy can we go upstairs in your room and watch a movie?"Royalty says snatching me from my thoughts.

"Of course munchkin." I say.

We enter my room and she goes to lay on my king sized bed, spreading her little self all over my red, silk sheets. I laugh to myself and put in 'Frozen'.
I go back to the bed and lay next to Royalty. She snuggles close to me and lays her head on my chest. I smile.

I've never watched this movie cause I honestly thought it would be boring.

Of course I was wrong.

40 minutes into it and I was already enjoying it as well as Royalty. After the movie I was even more tired than before. It's 11:03 now and my lil baby is knocked out.

Cold.

I pick her up and walk across the hall to her room and set her down in her bed. I kiss her gently on her forehead and walk out closing the door behind me.

I walk back into my room and into my bathroom. I strip and take and hot shower. After I finish, I wrap a towel around my waist and walk to my drawer to look for bed clothes not too long before I get interrupted by three knocks on my door. I open it and it's the nanny.

"Uhm..h-hey Chris. I just wanted to let you know your dinner is downstairs in the microwave.." I let her call me by my first name after five months of her working for me and we sort of became friends.

I notice her eyes travel from my face to my chest and almost at their way down to my area until I cleared my throat, looking at her weirdly.

Ya'll see what I mean?

"Okay, thanks for letting me know. Also thanks for watching Royalty for me too. I know she can be a handful." "Oh, you're welcome. She's no problem at all." She smiles shyly. I laugh at her sudden shyness and tell her I will get dressed and I'll be down soon to eat.

After I'm finished, I tell her goodnight make my way back upstairs into my room and close the door. I crawl into bed and as soon as my eyes close, I'm off into a deep slumber.
