Chapter 22

Seamus P.O.V

After finishing our food we head out of the restaurant and back into the car. I let out a small sigh as i relax in the backseat. Without words, Esper starts up the car and drives out of the parking lot and back out on the road.

"So Seamus..I suspect that you want to get back home to James eh?" Asked Esper.

"I- Uh, yea i kinda do.." I mutter.

"Tell me the adress and i'll drop ya off there" Esper said.

I nod as i give her the adress.

"Okie then, we outta be there in 5-8 minutes then" Said Esper as she took a right turn on the street.

"So Seamus, i was wondering. If your able to tell me but..why did you run out of the room in the stream?" Asked Winter.

The car ride goes silent as light tension fills the car. I gulp and lick my chapped lips before speaking back.

"Well..I ran out because i was afraid" i say.

"Afraid of what..?" she asked

I sit there in silence for a few seconds, thinking.

"I-I..i was afraid of being..being rejected. Being hated on by everyone..." I say, trailing off at the end.

"Look Seamus, i don't think you'd really be 'hated'. Have you seen how many people have shipped you and James together and to dream about you and him dating? Plus if your subscibers were true fans they would support you and James and not hate. The haters can go die in a burning ficus" Said Winter as she turned to look at me.

"Your right Winter.." I say, realization hitting me like a brick.

"Yo Seamus, we are here" Said Esper.

I look out of the window to see the creature house.

"Well, i guess this is goodbye?" Asked Esper, a bit of sadness in her tone.

"Hopefully not" Said Esper.

"Don't worry, you'll see me again" I say with a small smile before getting out of the car.

"Seamus wait!" I heard Winter yell from out of the window.

i stop walking halfway to turn around. I raise an eyebrow as i stand there.

I see Winter fiddle with the door handle before opening it. She gets out of the car and runs toward me. My eyes widen as she runs faster before jumping onto me, wrapping her arms around my neck.

I chuckle as i wrap my arms around her waist, engulfing her in a hug.

"Thank you" I heard her whisper in my ear.

"For what?' i ask quietly.

She lifts her head from my neck and looks at me, tears welling in her eyes.

"Thank you..for saving me" She says, tears rolling down her cheeks.

I looked at her in slight confusion for a second. She sighs lightly before showing me her arm. On her arm were slightly faded cuts..from a razor blade.

I had saved her..saved her from suicide.

"Thank you Seamus..so much" She says as she wipes away her tears.

I nod and smile softly as i hug her tightly.

She looks up at me with a smile before quickly pecking me on the lips before waving goodbye and running back to her car.

I chuckle spgtly before turning back around and walk up to the door. I exhale a small sigh before twisting the doornob, and walking in slowly, unprepared for what was going to happen.
