"Ma chérie, do you like it?"
I nodded slightly and smiled.
He showed a hand and asked, "may I~?"
I looked at him, hesitantly took his hand. He said, "mon amour, you're my guest, and I'm your guide."
I giggled a bit, then said, "let's go."
Ha! Such a cliché story of how the guy shows you around his place. But... sometimes cliché works...
~~*~~
Walking through the countryside of France, I gazed at the wine fields. The skies were clear blue, the waters were calm and clean. The mid-summer atmosphere made the plants grew vibrantly. I looked down at the river, the creatures were dancing along like they're greeting our visit to the place.
As a urbaner, I seldom have experiences with the mother nature because of the lack of time. I enjoyed the silence. It's not awkward, but relaxing. I looked at Francis. He was humming a song. Seemed he was really enjoyed.
I walked into the green, then laid down, enjoying the tranquillity. Francis did the same as I did.
I took a deep breath in the fresh air of the countryside, then (finally) spoke a word. "Francis?"
"Oui?"
"This place is beautiful... isn't it?" I breathed again. The air was really clean.
He looked at me and said, "it's more beautiful than before, in my point of view."
I chuckled and asked, "why?"
"Because you're beautiful."
I rolled my eyes and hissed. 'Really? I don't think so.'
My lips let go a small sigh, then closed my eyes.
When I opened them again, I saw myself in a palace. It was full of mirrors, finely decorated with luxuries.
The Versailles.
We're in the hall of mirrors now. Surrounding us were the finest mirrors in Europe, with exotic decorations and paintings from different artists.
Looking around, no one was around us. I could imagine how the aristocrats and the Royals having balls and luxurious parties. Me and Francis as the princess and the prince, dancing along the hall, with everyone watching us. The mirrors were reflecting our aesthetic gestures, we were in the spotlight.
"Wow." I said, "it's nice."
"Yes, it is." He looked at me and smiled.
I looked at him and asked, "where are we going next?"
"Close your eyes, then you'll find out."
I closed my eyes, feeling the atmosphere. My cheeks were slowly heating up, my hand was holding his.
I opened my eyes again. Now we were in a different place, the city of love, one of the most beautiful places in the world.
Along the Seine, we were walking together, holding hands. The streets were clean, the buildings and the trees were perfectly matched. After a while, we decided to rest and enjoy the calm atmosphere in Paris.
We found a spot in the square beside the Eiffel Tower. Observing around, I glimpsed at the beauty of this city. I took out my phone and took some photos and selfies, then suddenly felt my cheek was pressed with the lips of a certain man.
I put down my cell phone and looked at Francis, with my face heated up to slight vermilion. Simply I didn't know how could I do with such situation. He giggled a bit and said, "you look cute when you're blushing."
