Chapter 8: The Killer

                               DAD'S P.O.V

" STOP DAD I'M SICK OF YOU BEATING ME UP FOR NO REASON AND SICK OF YOUR DRUNKNESS JUST GET OUT OF MY LIFE!" my daughter yells at me and then the next thing I know I'm falling to the ground and hear her screaming.

That Nathan boy comes and sees me, they both think I'm dead well I'm not. I'm just unconscious. They put me in the cellar. Wow the cellar is the easiest place to put bodies and I should know. When I wake up, that boy is dead, I know he likes her. The way he looks at her. HE'S DEAD! I finally wake up and go inside waiting for Skylar to come home so I can kill her too. I have a gun in my hand but it's been like 2 hours since she's come home and it's 11:46 at night. Ugh now I have to sleep so ill sleep in the cellar just in case

                                             SKYLAR'S P.O.V

We were watching a scary movie and I was holding on to Nathan tightly. I ended up falling asleep on him.

                                      ~NIGHTMARE~

I come home from the best night EVER at Nathan's. When I open the door I see....... my dad." H-how are you still alive?" I ask and I'm really scared. Oh, you think that little fall killed me? He chuckled." Stupid ignorant girl and he lifted a gun towards me and pulled the trigger." Honey don't go home" I heard my mom." W-what?" " don't go home he's alive"       I woke up

Skylar, SKYLAR!" I heard Nathan yell "Wh- what?"  You were crying and screaming." " Oh it was just a nightmare, go back to sleep Nathan." I said and he did so holding me in his arms. Was that dream a warning?

                                ~morning~

I wake up to see Nathan staring at me." What?" I ask." You're beautiful, you know that?" He says and kisses me on the cheek. I blushed and shook my head." You are Skylar, you're like the most beautiful girl I've ever seen!" He said while he hugged me." Y-your like the most cutest boy I've ever seen, like since I first saw you in a music video a-" but I stop realizing what I just said and he's blushing! "Yeah" I say casually." You know when I first met you, I couldn't stop thinking about you. You were everywhere I went, and then when that car hit you, I was worried so much that I had to escape a police officer and convince a paramedic to get on the ambulance with you." He says giggling." But why do you care?" " Because I love-" but I wouldn't let him finish. I crashed my lips on to his and when I pulled away he kissed me back." I-I am sorry I should-" I said before he stopped me. "No don't leave, I was going to say that I love you Skylar and I was going to ask you... will you be my girlfriend?" He asks nervously." Y-yes of course I would Nathan!" I say.

I leave his house in the best mood wait that's what happened in my nightmare. I go back to Nathan's house and ring the doorbell." Skylar? what's wrong?" Nathan asks." Can you come to the cellar with me?" " yeah sure but why?" He asks." I want to make sure he's dead and bring a weapon." I say and he brings a big knife." For emergencies." He says smiling. When we get down to the cellar we saw my dad in the same position except......... he was breathing. I saw his eye open and immediately hit him in the head with a pan. Then Nathan called the police and we were waiting for them to get here, I didn't realize I was shaking and Nathan held me close to him." It's going to be ok shh he said reassuringly. When the police got here I told them what happened and they handcuffed my dad and put him in the car, they thanked us, and drove off." He-he's gone...he's finally out of my life, I'll never see him again and I'll go to a foster home away from here and be away." Wait away from Nathan." The foster people will be here soon so you should pack up" he didn't even look at me." Nathan y-you can't let them take me away." " Why? That's what you wanted, to be away." He's now walking away from me." Nathan come back!" But he just went inside looking hurt. What have i done?

                                NATHAN'S P.O.V

I had to leave, she wanted to get away. I'll never see the first girl I ever loved again. I was crying in my room when I heard the car door open. They're here. I then hear screaming from Skylar." NO YOU CAN'T TAKE ME AWAY, NOT FROM NATHAN! I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT HIM I-I LOVE HIM. Wait she loves me? I quickly run outside and say" my friend would like to adopt Ms. Rolland." " Who would like to adopt her?" One of the people say. Kelsey comes out." My name is Kelsey and I would like to adopt Skylar." She says proudly." Alright but you need to sign some things and then Ms. Rolland can go." The lady says and they leave in their car and I quickly run to my car, let Kelsey in and drove to the foster care.

While Kelsey was signing papers me and Skylar were talking." Skylar? Did you mean it when you told them that you loved me?" I asked." Nathan, of course I did. I meant every word." She said and I kissed her." Alright you two love birds lets go home." Kelsey says and we walk out hand in hand.
