Chapter 7: Memories

                                                          SKYLAR'S P.O.V

I jerk up from my sleep and look into Nathan's eyes. Their a beautiful sea green and I could look at them for days." Your awake!" Nathans says and hugs me." Yep I'm awake........breathing....dying...darkness consuming." I say because I can't breath. He lets go of me "sorry Skylar" he says and then I'm in a group hug with the boys." You know Nathan stayed here all night until you were alright mate." Max said and Nathan gave him a glare." Only because it was my fault" he says while frowning." No it wasn't, I should've looked where I was going Nathan you know that." I say reassuringly to him and hug him." Still I'm truly sorry Skylar that happened to you" Nathan says with a fake smile." When do I leave?" I ask a nurse." In the evening you can leave" she says while smiling.

When I left the hospital the boys drove me home and now I have to face my father and probably get beaten up." Great......." I say under my breath." What's wrong?" Nathan asks worriedly." Nothing it's just my father." I say and look out the window. When we get to my house I sneak in through that tree that Nathan got to my room with and tumble on the floor. I hear footsteps and quickly get into bed and pretend to sleep." She was in here the WHOLE  TIME!" He says and then grabs me and punches me in the faces I don't even know how many times." STOP DAD I'M SICK OF YOU BEATING ME UP FOR NO REASON AND SICK OF YOUR DRUNKNESS JUST GET OUT OF MY LIFE!" I scream and punch him multiple times and push him out the window but when I see him fall to the ground I was scared. I screamed and Nathan came running to me seeing my dad.

                                                              NATHANS P.O.V

I hear screaming and it sounds like Skylar so I run outside to her and see her dad on the floor, not moving. I scream and look at Skylar, she's sobbing and looks like she's going to die. I climb the tree to her and put her in big hug that went on for like two minutes until she calmed down."shhhhhh its ok, its ok" I say reassuringly while holding her." I didn't mean to I-I was j-just tired of what he has done to me for the last 5 years" she says while looking into my eyes." What did he do to you Skylar." I ask and she tells me everything. About her mom and best friend and her beating and how he was so drunk." Skylar I-I'm so, so, so sorry this happened to you. It shouldn't of been you I mean you are smart, strong, funny, and very beautiful an..." I say but she cuts me off." I'm beautiful?" She asks. Oh why did I say that I mean I meant it all but why did I say it out loud? She was blushing and I felt embarrassed so I just nodded my head." W-why don't you come over and we can work things out?" I ask." Ok but what about my dad I mean he... he's dead." She says so we hide his body in her cellar and walk to mu house

"I love your house I forgot to say that the first time I came over but I LOVE it." She says happily. Well, at least she's happy. We walk to the living room and see Max, Tom, Siva, and Jay all staring at us." What?" I ask." Nothing." Tom says smirking." Oh, Kelsey is coming tomorrow just saying." Tom says excitedly." Cool I don't really care" I say smiling but he frowns," I'm kidding Tom." I say playfully. Skylar and I go up to my room and talk." So was your mom nice" I ask but she turns her head," oh I'm So sorry I asked I shouldn't of." I say." No it's ok, well my mom was the best mom ever. She would take care of me, cook for me, and she cared for me when dad hurt me. That's the reason he killed her, he said he was sick of her saying to stop hurting me but he did it anyway. When he was going to kill me she tried to stop him so instead killed her in front of my own eyes." she had tears streaming down her face, I held her in my arms and we both fell asleep arm around each other. man, I love this girl.

                                     ~NIGHTMARE~

"So you think you can kill me that easily ay Skylar?" Her dad says smirking." You will not hurt her!" I yell wrapping my arm around Skylar." Oh, you see Nathan...... I already have." Now he has Skylar in a head lock. How did he get her? I run toward them but then they disappear. I hear a cry coming from Skylar so I turn around to see that he had shot her right in the stomach." Nathan, Nathan help me." She whispers." Sk-Skylar s-stay with me please stay with me. I need you, I want you........I love you.

                                  ~END OF NIGHTMARE~

I wake up and see that Skylar was trying to wake me up." I-I didn't know what to do I-I saw you crying and say stay with me I just freaked out and..." She had tears in her eyes." It's ok everything's ok I just had a nightmare that's all" I said reassuringly.' Now go back to sleep." I said and she outs her head on my chest and I wrap my arms around her waist and we fall asleep.
