'Come on! I want to train too!' The redhead whined as he leaned against the tree, watching Nagisa block and dodge Asano's attacks.
'It's your fault for trying to do something so reckless and injuring yourself in the process.' Nagisa replied, dodging Asano's rubber knife.
It was four in the morning. Nagisa had to wake the two monsters an hour ago to train. At first, the two were unwilling to wake up so early, but once they heard it was for training, the two were more than willing to go.
The redhead frowned. 'Shouldn't you take this chance to teach me how to fight despite the injury? You know, when you're injured on a mission but still need to fight?'
Nagisa sighed and turned to face Karma. Asano got the message and stopped attacking her. The blunette stared into the redhead's mercury eyes for a moment before sighing once again in defeat. 'Fine. Let's practise shooting.'
Karma frowned once again, knowing fully well that Nagisa said that because she knew he was bad at it. 'Can't you teach me something I'll be more interested in?'
The blue haired girl gave it some thought, glancing between Asano's knife and the gun she had in her hands. She was being indecisive now. Should she risk it and teach the devil how to throw knives? Or should she play it safe?
Come on, Nagisa. It's not like you to be indecisive. You want to be a teacher, don't you? If those two were your students, what would you do? Nagisa's azure eyes widened as she recalled another terrible memory. She sighed once more. 'No. Improve on your shooting first, then I'll teach you how to throw knives.'
Karma wasn't exactly satisfied, but he was slightly motivated.
Nagisa used one of the throwing knives she always carried around to carve a target on a slightly bigger tree.
'If you're able to hit the exact center at least 10 metres away, I'll teach you how to throw knives.
The redhead had an almost concentrated look plastered on his face as he aimed the target on the tree. The loud sound was heard constantly as Nagisa continued training with Asano, giving him tips and correcting him once in a while.
It took a while, but Karma managed to hit the target right at the center. 'Nagisa-kun! I did it!' He called out to the blue haired girl 10 metres away from him.
The blunette halted her training with Asano and walked towards Karma to look at the target on the tree. There were multiple dents at the edge and out of the drawn target and only one dent in the center.
'That was pure luck! Out of that many times, only two other hit close to the center, and only one at the center!'
'But I did hit it, right? That should be enough.' Karma had his usual smirk on. 'Besides it's still pretty dark out. I think I'm skilled enough it even hit the target at all with this lighting.'
Nagisa sighed and took the gun from the redhead. She pointed the weapon at the tree and didn't hesitate to immediately shoot. The BB pellet hit right at the center, deepening the dent Karma's bullet made.
Karma was left speechless, and so was Asano.
'That wasn't nearly as difficult as I thought it'd be.' Nagisa muttered under her breath, and this pissed the redhead off. 'Anyhow, good job, though there isn't any time to teach you how to throw knives anymore. I have to make breakfast, and I expect the two of you to help me.'
Asano smirked at this. 'Such a shame for you, huh? Akabane?'
'I don't want to hear anything from you. You didn't learn anything new either.'
