Period 13: Duo of the Night

Two figures appeared crouched atop the rooftop of a building. Their red and blue hair sticking out just a little, but mostly hidden by the black hoodie they wore over their head.

'He lives here?' Karma questioned as the two prepared to break into the house.

'Yes. I just shut down his security system so we can get in without being detected. He's got some guards, but they only patrol outside.' Nagisa spoke in a hushed voice. 'I'm assuming he's in bed right now, considering his schedule, so that's where I'm headed. His bedroom.'

'Keep a lookout, and you know, help, if I need it. You're backup for a reason.' Karma rolled his eyes at him and waved him off.

Nagisa smiled before she begun to lower herself, holding onto the edge of the roof as she opened the expectedly unlocked window. She slipped in almost completely silently, curving her body a little as to not touch the window frame in case it made more sound.

The blunette had taken off her boots to decrease the risk of making any noise, and that helped with the landing, considering the distance.

The man was asleep in bed, as expected. Nagisa smiled. It was going to be a clean kill.

The man died a relatively peaceful death.

'Daiki next?' Karma asked as the two made their way to the next location, jumping from building to building easily with the blunette in lead.

'No he should be dead already. Sent him poisoned snacks. We'll hear tomorrow if he's eaten it, but seeing as he's such a food lover, I don't think he could resist the biscuits even for a minute.' The blunette looked over to the redhead, who nodded in response before she continued, 'That said, we're headed for Hirano next. Again, we're going for the easiest ones first, so we can complete as many as possible before we run into problems. Hirano should still be awake, but alone tonight.'

The two could see the woman from the huge glass windows she had in her living room. She appeared to be enjoying a glass of wine. Perfect. A distracted prey.

'You wait on the roof, Karma. You can break the windows if I have any trouble with her.'

With a nod in response, the blunette headed around to the back of the house to slip in through the kitchen window instead. Everything was blanketed in darkness with only warm, dim lights illuminating the place. What a mistake.

The fancily dressed woman was seated on the couch, so again, with his boots removed, he snuck up behind her and slit her neck. She had a brief moment of panic and the will to scream, but everything happened too quick. Her father expected nothing less from her, Nagisa was sure.

Karma nearly threw her off the roof when he felt her throw herself over his shoulders from behind.

'What the hell, Nagisa?!' The redhead angrily yelled as softly as he could.

The blunette giggled. 'Chino next.'

The duo made their way to a very famous hotel for the rich. Nagisa suspected that it would not be famous for its reputation any longer, but for having a scene. A crime scene.

The woman had been with a few friends as they spent some time chit chatting in the living room of the very spacious hotel room.

Karma waited outside the windows again this time as Nagisa made her way through the vents and right outside the door.
