Yesterday I came out to my closest friend who doesn't really have a political stance and is also Jewish, so she didn't care or judge me on it or anything. The thing is, when you live in the Heart of Dixie, or the middle of Alabama, people like her are very scarce. I don't know how to tell my other friends, who think gay people should be damned to hell. Also I'm pretty sure somebody overheard me and my friend's conversation, so I don't know what'll happen there. I literally almost threw up just thinking about it and it's so nerve wracking. My teacher made me go to the health office because I looked so pale. I just don't know what to do, especially because one of my friends who feels the strongest about it I've known since I was born. It's really hard.
