Lauren stood at the door watching Joey leave, and when she couldn't hear his footsteps on the stairs anymore she turned around and went inside.

"Hi Lauren and Joey." Julia yelled from the kitchen as soon as Lauren had closed the door.

"It's just Lauren, actually."

Julia walked into the living room to meet her friend, and was shocked that she was alone. "Oh! Do my eyes deceive me? Lauren, alone?" she said in a southern accent grabbing her chest with one hand and holding on to the couch with the other hand acting like she needed it to balance.

Lauren laughed and walked over to her shoving her on the shoulder before sitting down on the couch. Julia hopped over the back and sat next to her resting her head on Laurens shoulder. "I've missed you these past few days." She said putting her arms around the shorter girl for a half hug.

Lauren rested her head on top of her friends and moved her arms around her as well. "I've missed you too." She said.

Julia sighed and the pair sat there for a few more minutes in a comfortable silence. It was only a few moments later that Jaime walked in and asked if they had smelt something burning too. Julia sat up very quickly, hitting Laurnes nose hard with her head, and knocking off her glasses on the way. Julia shoved her friend off to run in the kitchen screaming "My Potatoes!" Jaime followed her, probably to make jokes about how this is why we never let Julia cook dinner, whole Lauren say unnoticed on the couch trying to hold back tears so Julia wouldn't feel bad about hitting her nose so hard.

Lauren was so focused on trying not to cry that she hadn't even noticed that Jaime and Julia had walked back into the room until she heard Jaime say something.

"Sorry, what did you say Jaime?" She said softly so they couldn't tell she was fighting back tears.

"Lauren, your fucking nose is bleeding!" Jaime said running over with a box of tissues to try and stop the blood.

Lauren reached up to touch her nose to see if it was really bleeding, and as soon as she brought her hand down and saw the blood, which caused her tears to start waterfalling down her face.

"Oh my god, Lo, I am so so sorry!" Julia said coming over to rub her friends back while she cried.

Lauren just nodded her head knowing that she was crying too much to want to talk and that the tissue was blocking half of her airway.

It took a few more minutes for her to finally stop crying but her nose hurt like a bitch. "Sorry I'm being a huge ass baby, guys. That just hurt really bad and I think seeing blood just kind of shocked me." Lauren said sounding very nasally as her hand and a tissue were over her nose.

"Oh my god, Lauren it's okay I think any of us would have cried if someones head bashed into our noses." Jaime said still sitting in front of her with a box of tissues.

Julia got up and retreated to the kitchen only to come back with a makeshift icepack. "I'm so sorry, Lauren, I did not mean to hurt you at all." Julia said very sadly.

"It's okay, Julia! I know you didn't mean to. I'm not mad at all." Lauren said back still sounding very muffled as she still had tissues clogging her nose.

The trio sat in silence for a minute before Jaime hopped up. "I know exactly what will make you feel better!" She said walking over to turn on the TV and put something in the DVD player. The other girls could tell by the first commercial that it was High School Musical 2.

"I feel like we haven't had a girls night in forever." Julia said resting her head on Laurens shoulder again, careful to not get near her nose.

"Well it's not every night someone almost breaks their nose and needs to be comforted by High School Musical 2 and friend snuggles." Jaime said pulling the blanket over the group.
