Chapter 30

Mays POV
I didn't know what to do with or about the letter. My first instinct was to give it to mom and dad. I took it down stairs and mom read it.

M:He gave me this with the letter
I showed her the necklace
J:Well, I'm afraid that all we can do is hope and let the police do their job.
O:Jen,  Joel just called,  he wants us to come over
J:Okay, go get ready sweetie
M:Okay

I went upstairs yo get ready

Jenny's POV
Joel wanted us to come over. He knew about what happened to Blake. We all got ready and went to Joel and lizzies house. May hasn't seen Joel since she was in the hospital. May was silent the whole car ride. We finally made it to joels house. We walked in and I hugged Joel. We sat down on the couch.

Jo:You okay may?
M:What do you think? Tomorrow is the anniversary of my best friends death and my brother just ran away.
Je:May, don't be rude
M:Sorry Joel
Jo:Its alright
L:Hey, lily is upstairs,  why don't you go play with her

So may went upstairs to see lily, the girl that Lizzie and Joel adopted last month.

Mays POV
I went upstairs and knocked on lilies door. She opened the door and we sat on her bed.

L:What's that?
M:Its a necklace that Blake gave me
L:They still haven't found him?
M:No.
L:Don't worry, I'm sure he's fine.
M:I'm just scared, my dad is still out there. What if he finds Blake?
L:Blake is tough. He won't let that happen
M:Your right.
L:Do you wanna play twister?
M:Sure.

So me and lily played twister and we got on lilies computer. We drew and sang the rest of the night.

L:Does jenny know how good you are at singing?
M:No. I don't like to sing in front of people.
L:Well your really good.
M:Thanks, I have to go.  I have school tomorrow.
L:Bye!
M:Bye!

Me mom and dad drove home. I took a shower and got ready for  bed. The next day, I woke up and went to school. Logan was waiting for me.

L:Feel any better?
M:A little.
L:Good. So, john (kates dad) is holding a candle lighting cermony for Kate.
M:What time?
L:6:00
M:I'll be there.
L:Did you here that theory that everyone's been talking about?
M:What theory?
L:They think that Kate is still alive.
M:How?
L:They think she was just knocked out on the plane and that she never escaped the island.
M:What about what Kendall told me?  She had no pulse.
L:She could've been checking wrong.
M:Oh my god. What if Kate really is alive! She wouldn't have been able to contact me because Kendall took her phone!
L:Don't jump to conclusions. Its just a theory.
M:But it could be true! Ill talk to my mom after school.
L:Okay then.

The rest of the day, I was restless. I couldn't believe that Kate could actually be alive! After school, I ran home and told mom all about the theory of Kate being alive.

J:honey, I think you just miss Kate so your making up all this nonsense
M:No I'm not! Don't you see! My best friend could still be alive mom!
J:Its been a year sweetie.
M:Mom. Please just talk to the police.  Maybe they could search again!
J:Honey...
M:Mom! Please! Kate could still be alive and you won't ask if they can find her! Please! I already lost Blake and Kate! But there's a chance I can get Kate back! Please mom.
J:okay,  I'll stop by the station tomorrow.
M:Thank you mom.
J:Now,  go get ready for dinner.
M:Okay

The rest of the day just flew by. School flew by to.  I was just so excited. I got home and ran to mom.

M:Did you talk to them!?!
J:I did. They took a helicopter to the island were Kate crashed.
M:And?
J:Just come in the living room.

Mom walked me into the living room. On the couch, there was a police officer.

M:Did you find her?
PO:Well,
He looked over to the kitchen and motioned his hand to the living room
PO:Come on out.

Then, I saw the best thing I've seen in a long time. I saw Kate and her mom walk into the living room.

Kate and her mom were alive.  They were alive and standing in my house again.

Yay!  I updated!  So sorry for the lack of uploads and the short chapter. I've been busy studying and practicing for my band concert next week. Anyways, I will try to upload more.
