This is another personal one, and I will just let this one speak for itself.

Spoiled Rotten

It's harder now to see
The beauty in defeat

I know it's not so bad
Losing all that I had

Someday I'll see a light
That just may be tonight

Why do the blue birds sing
After the storm destroyed their home

Why do the church bells ring
If God's left them alone

Why does the sunlight stand for hope
When grey skies stand before

Why am I still discontent
If I got what I've always wanted

This is not what I wanted
I am spoiled and I have rotten

It's not the end I know
Just how the story goes

A white picket fence outside
A cold prison gate by night

The eyes of the beholder are gold
We listen to what we're told

Chorus

This house is a house and nothing more
This body I've been given isn't worth the gore
My pain and sorrow walked out that door long ago
I don't know anything anymore

If we got all that we wanted
Would we ever want anymore

If we got all that we dreamed of
What should we be happy for

If we got everything that we needed
Why should we ask for more

Chorus

I am spoiled and I have rotten
I've been blessed I had forgotten
