I throw Loki into the nearest building. I hit a Chitauri with my shield.

"Captain?" I hear Stark yell. I look up and see him.

"Welcome to the fight," I say as he lands next to me. He burns some of the Chitauri.

"I thought it was LAST versus SHIELD not everybody attack earth day," Tony flys up a little to take out another squadron.

"Thanos decided to come back," Natasha says as she comes over. The original Avengers with her.

"Anybody else getting a bad case of Daja vu? Banner says. He is no longer the Hulk.

"Third time this has happened," Hawkeye shakes his head.

"Well let's take them out," Stark flies by.

"At least there's no worm hole," I add in.

"Don't jinx it," Natasha huffs.

"Where's Verdandi?" Banner asks.

"I don't know," I sigh. I look up to the sky.

"Anybody copy?" Verdandis voice comes through my ear.

"Steve here where are you?" I press my finger to my ear.

"Do you see the Empire State Building?" I hear her cough. I whirl around and run down the street. A huge dust cloud covers my vision.

"There's a dust cloud but I can see it," I motion the Avengers.

"Well I kinda made that dust cloud," She wheezes.

"How are you okay," I start to run.

"Well I got Thanos unconscious here because I kinda threw him off the top of the building and I can't feel anything," she sighs.

I don't even respond. I run as fast as possible. The dust clogs my eyes and my throat.

I don't even care. I finally see the huge crater in the ground.

I look inside it.

Two bodies lay in it.

Neither look very alive.

I slide down on my feet. Dust blows around me. All I can hear is the pounding in my ears.

I reach the bodies. The first I see is Thanos he is breathing and slightly moaning.

I push past him to the second body. I kneel down as I look at Verdandi's face.

I pick her up. She's still warm with life. I hear her breathing.

"Don't die on me please," I say as I lift her up out of the crater.

"Steve," Thor comes through the dust first.

"We need to find Odin he's the only one who can end this," I brush past him.

"Heimdall!" Thor yells. He then turns to me.

"Will she be okay?" He almost pleads.

"I'm fine," she opens her eyes slightly, " now of get Odin."

Thor nods to her. The light comes and picks up Thor. In seconds he is gone.

The rest of the Avengers come.

"Keep an eye on him," I point my head to the crater.

I watch as a special team comes with syringes.

I take Verdandi to a building far from most of the action. It a small office building. Couches and chairs are in the waiting room.

"You'll be safe her," I lay her on one of the couches in the waiting room.

"Thank you," she smiles at me.

"What happens after this?" I hold her hand.

"I don't know it depends how this ends," she brushes the hair out of my face.

"Will we be together?" I ask. I look into her eyes and I can already see the answer.

"If we will be then we will be but if I am with Loki, I want us to be friends," she smiles again.

I nod my head.

"Okay."
