Meet the Orphans

A/N: This chapter is tragic and full of loss, so if your sensitive to that, idk why your reading a book called orphans.

3rd person

   Alex, Denis, Braden, Sub, Elijah, and Ethan lived in an orphanage. They met each other there, and instantly became best friends.

   Alex is nine years old. He came to the orphanage around six and a half. He lost both of his parents to a terrible house fire when he was three. Alex was then put in care with his grandma, who was his only realitve. Three years later, she passed away because of old age. Poor Alex was scarred for life.

   Denis is nine years old. He came to the orphanage a few days after Alex had been there. His whole family was living in the same house. Denis also had suffered from a terrible house fire like Alex. The only other person who made it out alive was his baby sister, Ana. His mom had made him catch her from the second floor. Denis ran away with his sister before anyone knew. They lived on the streets for months, getting help from kind souls, and running into street gangs. Denis became tough and unopened as an effect. His sister lives across the street in the girls orphanage. Denis is allowed to visit her from time to time. Denis was devastated once he got to there, but Alex knew where he was coming from, and he tried to cheer him up.

   Braden is six years old, and he showed up to the orphanage a week after Denis had got there. His dad suffered from lung cancer and had passed away six months ago. Braden's mom was so upset by her husband's death, that she was depressed and driven herself to suicide after a couple of weeks. Braden isolated himself at first, but Denis had convenienced him to join his and Alex's friendship.

   Ethan and Elijah were also seven and twins. They had been there since babies. Their mother was younger than most and she wasn't ready for twins. Since their mom was so young and their parents were never mairred, their dad walked out early on in the pregnancy. Ethan and Elijah's mom knew that putting them up for adoption was the right thing to do. She wanted to contact them someday, so she gave both boys a locket to remind them about that one day.

   Sub was eight. He had been at the orphanage since he was six months old. Sub's birth was hard on his mom, and she passed away because of that. His dad had given up on Sub. He was so mean to him. The neighbors saw, and called the police, which lead to social services. Sub's family has a lot of medical issues that don't allow them to take care of a child, let alone a baby. So they ended up placing him in an orphanage. Sub grew up with Elijah and Ethan, but he never said a single word.

   The two groups had been a placed in the same room where they first meet. And that my friends, is where our story begins.

A/N: Something may be wrong with me, writing tragic things close to midnight, while I'm sick, but I got this great idea while I was trying to go to sleep so yeah. I originally planned for this to be a what if chapter, but my plot is too long for a what if chapter, so I turned it into a book. Let me know if you like it!!!
