it's been around 2 weeks since getting noticed by j. i've came to the realization that i'm not so crazy over him. i see him more as a friend then my "idol". he's so sweet and such a great person.

y/m: y/n! get downstairs. we are gonna have a family talk!
i hear her shout from downstairs.
y/n: coming!
i shout back from upstairs.
i toss my phone onto my bed and head downstairs.

y/n: hurry y/n!
she says, me standing behind her
y/n: mom. i'm right here
i giggle
she turns around and laughs
y/m: y/n, we have a surprise for you
she says, a smile slowly growing on her face
i then look over to my dad and he's smiling to

i then look over to a small box on the table
my smile grows, me instantly knowing what it is

she grabs the box and hands it to me

i untie the ribbon as fast as i could and take the lid/top of the box off.

and there sat 3 plane tickets to las angeles, LAX

my head immediately shots up to my mom then to my dad.

y/n: thank you so much thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you!!!

i say with so much excitement, hugging my mom then my dad.

y/n: i love you guys so much oh my gosh. thank you

i say, on the verge of tears

y/d: we knew you've been wanting to go to california for like 2 years so we said, might as well make it this year
he says, smiling

y/m: we're leaving 2 weeks from now and will have around 2 months there.

i shout, a smile on my face

she smiles

i say, getting the ticket and running up stairs, stopping in the middle to look at them and smile

when i get to the last step, i hear my dad say "i knew she would be happy" such amazing parents.

i get into my room and literally flip on my bed, start like dancing with NO MUSIC. this could possibly be the best day of the summer. oh wait, no. can't forget about j!

i get my phone and go on twitter

i get my ticket, take a picture. and post it on twitter with the caption "ahh, i'm going to cali!!"

i then go to my private messages, one from emily and one from jacob.
i decide to open emily's first.

emily: hey girl heyy!!

i send, then getting off her message
i go over to my messages with jacob

jacob: i'm finna fly all the way to kansas (i never said where she lives so let's just say kansas) to text me back.

she says, looking at the screen then at another direction
jacob: okay, i'm sorry then. i would date you. better?
y/n: you don't mean that
she says, still not looking at me
jacob: yes i do
i say, sarcastically

she says, looking at me then putting her phone down on something so all i could see was her roof

she says, i could hear her rattle through a bag

i laugh, already knowing what was gonna happen
she gets her phone, looks at me draw dropped and hangs up

i call her again but this time no answer
again, no answer
i get a message from her
y/n: i ended my period yesterday meanie.
jacob: i'm sorry 😂 i love you. now answer the phone. i wanna hear your voice
i get an incoming call from her, i answer it and we starts talking.
