Your Pov

it was the next day and i don't know what the fuck happened but i felt sick, i felt jet lagged and tired but very hungry.

i look over to the nightstand next to my bed to grab my phone but it wasn't there.

i quickly jumped up from the bed and ran to my luggage to see if i had dropped it there.

"damn it. no. no. fuck fuck!!" i shout rummaging through everything in the room.

i opened the hotel door and started looking everywhere. i went across the hall and back and it wasn't there.

i sigh and run back into the room

"what the fuck am i supposed to do now" i say to myself.

this is the most stressful trip i've ever had and well, i've had a lot.

i quickly get dressed and walk out of my hotel room.

i went down to the lobby to see if they had like some lost and found shit or something.

"have you guys seen an iphone x anywhere?"
i say to the woman at the front desk
"no ma'am but i'll keep an eye out" she smiles
"thanks"
i give a more of a forced smile back and walk towards the couches

i sit there just thinking of what the fuck to do and how to get in contact with jacob when i see a very familiar face walk out of the elevator.
it was the same guy from last night, i didn't catch his name but maybe he remembers me.
i guess he caught me looking at him because he started to walk towards me.

"why so grouchy?" he says, giving me a smile
"i lost my phone and i can't uber to the city because well, i don't have a phone" i laugh kinda sarcastically

he grabs into his pocket and pulls out his phone

"i'll get you an uber" he says, looking at his phone then back at me

"thank you so much, how can i possibly repay you"

i say, giving him the biggest smile ever.

"actually, can i also borrow your phone to call my friend"

i say, giving him a please kind of smile

"yes of course" he says kinda giggling

"literally thank you so much" i say, feeling damn relieved and grateful

he hands me his phone and i push in jacobs number into the keypad

"hello?" i hear someone say from the other line
"jacob?" i say
"y/n?" he says in a confused voice
"babe i lost my phone on my way here so i'm using somebody else's phone to call you. they ordered me an uber and i'm going to the city, where do i meet you?"
i say so quickly i couldn't even process what i was saying 
"okay um.. i'm in the studio but i can pick you up wherever your going"
"where do i go? i don't know anything here and i don't have a phone to tell you where i am. jacob help please." i say, starting to tear up because of how stressed i was.
"babe, okay. stay where you are. just tell me where your at and i'll be there as soon as i can. everything will be okay" he says, i felt relieved but upset that this was how i was going to meet jacob for the first time, upset.
"i'm at some hotel named writewood, or its in some place named writewood, i don't know jacob it's really big and has a bunch of story's, i'll be in the lobby" i sigh
"okay baby, i'll be there in a bit. i love you" he says
"love you more" i say, then hanging up

i look to the guy who's sitting on the couch

"friend?" the guy says

i smile and say "i didn't catch your name"

"shawn" he says, smiling

" thank you so much for letting me borrow your phone, it means a lot" i say, giving him a smile then sitting down next to him.

"so does this mean i can cancel the uber?" he says

"oh right! the uber, yes yes cancel it" i say, then sitting on the couch with him.

i whipped the tear that was still on my cheek off with my sleeve.

do you ever just start to cry because stress gets to you and your just so upset that it's the only thing that could possibly make you feel better? well, that's how i felt.

i was just excited to have somebody i loved with me, someone that could make me happy and talk to me.

today was very stressful and it's barely the beginning.
