Chapter 4 - New Boss

Samantha POV

A few week later........................

A few week have pass since that night which I don't remember too much about,I got out of bed to get ready then I feel like vomiting. I rushed to the bathroom and started vomiting and I don't know what was wrong  with me, I keep feeling sick in the morning and period is late. I did not take to much thought thinking about. I think that my period is late because of the stress at work. I got ready and head to work, I was about to walk into the building , I noticed that there was  lot of cars outside the building.  I did not bother to know why there were so many cars  outside, I just walked inside, when I reach inside everybody was nicely dressed and was all line up in a straight line in each side leaving a space to walked in the middle.

The whole building was spotless clean, you can even use the floor as a mirror , I was wondering why the building was so clean. I decided to go asked what is happening but then someone called my name so I turn around to see who was calling me. Chloe, my co-worker was calling me,  she came up to me and asked why I am dress like this. I looked at myself and see than I was dress normal, compare to other people, I see that she also like everybody dress in a fancy outfit, I asked her.

Sam:"Why everybody dress so?"

Chloe:"Are you serious?"   

Sam:" Yes!, so tell me what going on?" 

Chloe:" Fine,so everybody is dress like this cause we are going get a new boss and everybody want to dress nice, clean the building to welcome the new boss." 

Now I remember that  someone buy this building and that we will be getting a new boss. Someone walked it and Chloe pulled me in one of line, watched to see who walked in. The  person seem so  familiar, when the person come close, I noticed who it was,it was Kristian. He was dressed in a black suit looking so sexy, as he walked in everybody greeted him. He then greeted us and went in the elevator. Everybody went back to do their work after that, so I head up the elevator to go to the top floor where my office is.

I started doing the file on my desk, suddenly Kristian said to go to his office after lunch. I asked why but he just looked at me angrily and said just do what you being told to do, after he said that he just left, leaving me there thinking what did you even do to him. I finished my work and head to lunch, I went to eat at a restaurant not to far from my work's place. While I was waiting for my food a person called my name "Sam, is that you", I looked up to see the person, I don't want to ever see in my entire life. But that person is standing right there still looking the exactly same since the last time, I see him.

I sure that you would of guess who it was already. It is Ethan,my ex fiance, why is he here I thought that I ever seen him ever again but no he is standing right there, I hope it was a  just a dream but nope it is not a dream.  Ethan's voice bought me back to reality, he was just standing there waiting for me asked him to have a seat so I did and then he sat on the chair across of me.

Sam:"What are you doing here?"  

Ethan:"I here for a business that I come to do around this area,so what are doing here?"

Sam:" I here to have have Lunch."

When I said that the waiter come with my foods and place it on the table. I hear a laugh coming from across me, when I looked it was Ethan that was laughing.

Sam:"Why are you laughing,what are so funny?"

Ethan:"Nothing,you still the same always order so much food."

Sam:"Got a problem with that?"

Ethan:"Of  course I don't have a problem with you loving to eat."

I just smile at him without replying to him, I started eating my lunch. Suddenly a phone was ringing, I checked see if it was my phone but it was not mine. Ethan answered his phone and when he done talked, he looked at me saying that he have to leave saying something important come up. I telling him goodbye and watch as he leave. When I done eat, I went to pay and then walked out the restaurant.

When I went back to my work place, I was nervous to go up the elevator and head up the first floor. I was wondering what can I be called in the office for. When I went in the elevator and press the button to the first floor. While in the elevator, I was thinking the possible reason that I would be call to the office.
