Chapter 13 - Surprise

Samantha POV
  I can't believe that, I am on a ship and its is in the middle of the ocean, when did it reach here so fast. There was a table with candle on it, I was wondering where Kristian is, then music start playing out of no where.  Kristian was standing on the other side of the ship holding a bouquet of red roses. He walked toward me and give me the roses and then took out something from this pocket. He went on his knees and say "Will you marry me?"

I was shocked, never in my life will I thought that those words will coming out of his mouth. I thought that the moment when, I lost the child, he will want nothing to do with me but no, he is right here asking me to marry him. I don't know if, I am happy or not.  "You don't have to give me a answer now, I will give you time to thing about and I am sure the only answer, I am hearing from your mouth yes." Kristian said. He come and take me to the table and told the waiter that they can bring the food.

We talked nothing to each other but quietly waited for the food to come. When the food came we just started eating and I find myself looking at his direction.  "Do you like what you see?" Kristian said, my face was red like a tomato right now, I can't believe he noticed me doing that. I just looked down on my food and continue eating without answering him back. After we finshed our meal,the ship has reached the coast, we got off and went to his car. I have no idea where we are going, but it looked like he is taking me home.

When we reach to my house, I got off and say " Thank you for dropping off and I had a wonderful time on the ship." I quickly walked to door and he said " I will be coming to see you in few days, I hope by then you have your answer ready." after saying that he went in his car and drove off. I opened the door and Marina come to greet me. She asked me what I did today and why my face was so red. She placed her hand on my forehead checking to see if I am sick.

I slapped her hand away from my forehead telling her that I am fine and went to my room before she could ask anything else. I locked the door and just lie on the bed, I just let sleep consume me. The sunlight shine inside my room hitting directly in my eyes, I picked up my phone and check the time it was already 9:30. Oh no I going to be late for work, I got off the bed and  hurriedly get ready. After getting ready I quickly rush to work.

I barely make it time for work, I went to my table and start with the work that was on my table. My plan today is for this whole day to tried to avoid Kristian, because I did know how should I face him. While that did not goes according to plan. His assistant came and he told me that Mr. Smith want to see me in his office. I went to the office, Kristian was doing work, I did not want to bother him so, I decided to walked out the door. When I was about to opened the door, a hand was placed on the door.  "Where do you think you going?", so was so close to me that I started smelling  the cologne he had on. 

When I turn around a pair of lips were on mine. There was a bit shock going through my body, I did want to pull away so I kissed back. Kristian was shock that I kiss back but he continue with anyway. A knocked on the door interrupt us before we could go any further. The knocked save me from doing anything further to embarrassed myself. We fix our clothes before Kristian say " come in!" I did not even looked to see who it was, I just want to get out of that room. When I went back to my desk, I was hear people talking. Then I noticed what they was talking about. They were gossiping about that person.
