Chapter 5 - A Mess

Samantha POV
  "Ding!" the sound of the elevator as it reached the first floor. The door of the elevator open up and I walked out of it. I take my time as I walked to the office, when I reached, I nervously knocked on the door. "Come in Ms. John" the voice that is coming from inside the office said. I opened the door and I walked in the office. The chair's back was facing me, so I guess Kristian is sitting in it looking outside. 

Sam:"Mr. Smith, what did you need me to do for you?"

Kristian:"Have a seat first."

I took a seat on the couch and wait for him to tell me what did he called me for. Kristian turned the chair around and looked at me for a while,then he started talking about a project he want me to do.  I looked at it and asked him when did he need it. " I want it to be done today ," I looked like it was serious and that he want me do that project by the end of the day. I know that he want to test me but I going proved him wrong.  I walked out the door and went to my table and started working. 

My phone started ringing, I checked the caller ID and see that my best friend was calling so I picked up the called. I did not expect to hear that from her, she is crying on the  other end, asking me come to her, that she need me by her side. The called end, I take my bag and rush downstairs , got in my car, drove  straight to the house. I got out of the car and quickly got out my key to open the door.

When I walked inside the house, everything was scattered on the floor. The house was in a complete mess, I looked around to  see where Marina is. I finally found on the ground of her bedroom crying in a corner. I went by her and ask her what happen, " I am pregnant," she whispered to me. I was shock to hear her say that, I asked her who the father of her child and if she tell him. "The father of my baby is Zack, my boyfriend, I told him as soon as I found out but he do not believe that is  his child. He broke up with me and want nothing to do with this child." Marina said as she cry her heart out. I try comforting her, telling her to not worry about him, that he doesn't deserve you. I tell her that, I will be there for her and her child like she was there when my Parents kicked me out of the house.

Marina fall asleep on the bed, I quietly walked out of her room and close the door. I walked to the living room and started cleaning up the mess. When I finished cleaning, I cooked myself a small dinner and went upstairs  to take a bath. when I got out of the the bath I then remember that I have a project to finish up and it is for tonight. I quickly got dress and head to the company to finish it up project. When I reach the light was still on so that mean their still someone in the building. When I reached to my table, I quickly started to worked. A minute have passed by, I still did not finish, I heard footsteps coming this way, I turn my head and saw that it was  Kristian. 

"What are you still doing here,"  Kristian asked me so I tell him that, I am just finishing the project.  I handed him the folder with the information, I did for the project. He looked at the folder and then he pulled with him out building to his car. "Get in!" he tell me, I looked at him like he have grown a another head. "Why must I go in your car, where do you want to take me?" I said.

Kristian:" I am taking you home, so just get in the car." 

Sam:" No, need I could drive home by myself." 

Kristian:" Just get in the dam car and I am not letting you drive home by yourself." 

Sam:" You have no right to tell me not to drive home." 

When I said that he angrily lift me up and put me in his car, he went to the next side of the car and went in started to drive off. On the drive was a quiet one, I just looked out window of the car not want to see his face. He asked me for the address to my house so I give it to him, that is the only thing we talked in the car. I have a feeling that I have sit in this car before but I can not remember when.

When we reached, I got out of the car and he also got out of his car. We walked to the front door as I took the key out to open the door, I suddenly felt that my vision was going dark then I hear my name got called "Samantha".  My vision went completely black.
