Chapter 2

Nancy p.o.v.

During lunch I just walked around the hallways. School was now over and I was walking home. I got home after a 15 minute walk. I entered my houses and went to the kitchen to find my mom looking through her cooking book.

"Am home." I said

"OK honey. Today for dinner we are going to have guest for dinner." she informed me.

"OK." I said as i was leaving the kitchen.

"Wait Nancy!" my mom shouted.

"What?" i asked as i entered the kitchen again.

"Can you help me by making desert?" she asked.

"Sure just let me take my bag to my room." i told her.

I walked up stairs and put my bag in my bed, I went back downstairs and into the kitchen. I got a apron because knowing myself I would get my clothes dirty. I got all the things I would need, when I got everything I need, I started making a chocolate vanilla swirl cheesecake.

"Who are the guest that are coming for dinner?" i asked my mom.

"Our neighbors from next door."

"Oh." i said and got back to making the cheesecake. It took me 15 minutes to prepare it, and it would take about 3 hours and 10 minutes to be done. I checked the time on my phone (3:25pm). Our neighbors wouldn't be here until 6:15pm, so I had time to get ready.

I went up to my room and got in the shower. I got out and put on my robe and went to my closet to see what I will wear. When I decided what I would wear, I did my hair I straighten down. When I was done with my hair I did my makeup. After that i changed into a sleeveless denim tie front shirt, with some ripped short shorts, and some sandals.

When I was ready i went downstairs.

"Nancy can you set the table?" my mom asked.

"How many plates?"

"6 total." she responded.

I got 6 plates, forks, spoons, knifes, and the napkins and fixed the table. There was 20 minutes left before our neighbors get here. I then hear the front door open and close my dad must have just gotten home from work.

My dad came in into the kitchen and gave my mom a kiss.

"Hi sweetie" my dad greeted me.

"Hi"

"OK am going upstairs I will be back." my dad said and then left the kitchen.

My mom was finishing dinner. I was sitting in a stool by the counter playing in my phone.

"OK am finished with everything." my mom informed. "OK let me just go get something and I will be back." she left the kitchen it sounded like she went upstairs.

Then the doorbell rang. That must be our guest.

"Nancy get the door!" my mom shouted from upstairs.

I got off the stool, and put my phone in my pocket. I walked out of the kitchen and walked to the front door. I opened the door and, saw the kid from the office that was sitting in the chair. There was a lady next to him am guessing is his mom, there was also this other guy that looked like the other kid.

"Come in." i said.

They walked in and then my mom and dad walked down the stairs.

"Hi Michele." my mom greeted the lady.

My mom then introduce us all. We then walked to the dinning room. My dad sat at the end of the table, my mom sat next to him, I was in the other side of my dad, next to me was Alex, Austin was next to my mom, and Michele was in the other end of the table. We then started eating dinner.

The guy that was at the office was Austin.

We were know eating desert I then was getting a phone call, I checked the caller ID and i couldn't believe it who it was.

"Um excuse me I need to take this call." i said as i excused me-self from the table.

"OK but don't take long." my mom told me.

I went to the living room to talk.
