Chapter 10

Nancy pov

We left Alex's house his mom is really nice. We have just arrived at Kailey's house. I got my bag and we went inside. I went to put my bag in Kailey's room. I came back downstairs.

We just need Eileen and Miriam to come back. We were all sitting down in the living room on our phones. Five minutes later Miriam and Eileen are back.

"So what are we going to do?" Robert asked.

"What if we go out side?' Kailey suggested but came out more like a question.

"Ok." we all agreed.

 It was like 7:45pm so it would be getting dark soon. We went outside and it was COLD. I hugged myself to keep myself warm but I failed.

"Are you cold?" Alex asked.

"Yeah and I didn't bring a sweatshirt." I said

"Since I don't have a sweatshirt neither come here." he said as he hugged me to keep me warm.

"Kailey am turning on the fire pit." Eileen said.

"Ok" she responded.

Eileen turned on the fire pit and we went to go sit around it since we were all cold.

"You guys want me to make hot chocolate?" Kailey asked.

"Sure." Robert said.

"Ok Nancy can you cook?" Kailey asked.

"Yeah a little why?"

"Will I don't want to burn down the house so.."

"Ok." I said as i got up and followed her inside to make the hot chocolate.

"Can you get the mugs?" Kailey asked.

"Yeah." I said as I  went to the cabinet and got out 8 mugs.

We waited for the hot chocolate to be done when it was we served it in the mugs.

"Can you put the marshmallows while I get the tray." Kailey said.

I got the marshmallows and put them in all the mugs. Then Kailey came back with the tray we put the mugs and we walked outside.

We gave everybody a cup and then we sat down and  watched the fire. Alex put his arm around me again to keep me warm.

"What do you guys want to play?" Zach said.

"Truth or Dare." Robert said.

"Ok." Austin said, "I will go first."

"Ok let see Robert truth or dare?" Austin asked.

"Um dare."

"Ok I dare you to lick Zach's cheek." Austin said.

"What I never agree for you to that." Zach said.

"Uuuhhh ok." Robert said as he walked to Zach and licked his cheek.

"Ew." Kailey said.

We went on with the game saying some truths and doing some more dares. After a while we decide to stop playing and we talk about any random thing that came up.

"Ok am tired already." Zach complained.

"What if we sleep outside tonight." Austin said.

"Ok." we all agreed.

We went inside to get some sleeping bags and 4 tents. But before we went outside to set up everything we all changed into out pajamas. Mines was a tank top that said 'Keep Calm and Dream On' the shirt was white but in the words there was pink, yellow, light green, blue and purple, my short where a light green. I will just need to stand the cold.

We went outside and the boys set up the tents. When they where finished decided who was going to sleep with who in a tent. I was going to be sleeping in the same tent as Kailey, Eileen and Miriam, Austin and Alex, and Robert and Zach.

We all went into our tents and set up the sleeping bags. Since we were all tired we went to sleep. I wasn't tired nor sleepily. I couldn't sleep so  I got out of the tent and went to sit down around the fire pit which we forgot to turn off. I just sat there staring at the fire.

"Can't sleep?" someone asked. I turn around and see Alex closing the tent, he walked to me and sat down next to me.

"No, why are you awake?" I asked.

"I couldn't sleep either." he responded.

"Oh."

We sat there in silence.

Alex pov

We all went to sleep and I couldn't sleep at all. I decide I would get some fresh air so I got out of the tent and see that Nancy was sitting around the fire pit she had he legs to her chest and was hugging them. She was looking at the fire.

"Can't sleep?" I asked.

"No, why are you awake?" she asked.

"I couldn't sleep either." I responded.

"Oh." she said. 

We sat there in silence looking at the fire.

I looked at her and she was looking at the fire and it looked she was thinking about something.

"Is everything alright?" I asked.

"Um.. yeah." she responded.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"Alex you are a really nice person and it seems that I can trust you." she said.

"Thanks." I said

"Do you still want to know what happened?" she asked.

"If you want to tell me, you don't need to tell me." I said.

"I am going to tell you because I can trust you, but promise that you will not tell no one?" she said.

"I promise." I said.

"Ok here it goes......" she said.
