You had just gotten out of school, you were annoyed with the stacks of work your biology teacher had shoved onto you but it wasn't like you were going to do it anyway. You didn't care much for grades, barely scratching a C+ what could you care? You were sixteen, you wanted to have a life and enjoy yourself; that something your parents didn't understand.
Your feet barely dragged you to your car where you spotted a dark haired boy, he was crouched onto the floor and gathering something. As you became closer you realised it was Jonathan Byers, how sorry you felt for him.
"Hey Byers, let me help you" You shouted as You jogged toward him. He looked nervously, You had not spoken to him much. Kids at school labelled him as the "weirdo" and a "freak" but there was so much more to him, even though You didn't know him, You felt as though You did. "Uh no,no it's okay" he finally replied, but ignoring his reply you decided to anyway. Gathering his things you shot him a smile before handing his stuff. "Thanks" Jonathan said as he got up from the floor.
"You're welcome, did you want a ride home?" You asked as you got up too. "No thanks-", "No let me take you home" you cut him off. God knows if he would make it home in one piece walking. He finally agreed and you dropped him off outside his out. "Catch ya later Byers" you said causing Jonathan to smile as he opened the door. "Sure (L/N)".
