Chapter 1

Chapter 1: Meeting Lucy

~Third pov~

"U-um, excuse me, sir," A nervous looking employee began, before asking, "A-are you alright?" "He's fine," A small talking blue exceed answers for the pale looking male who was currently groaning in his sleep as he held his stomach. The employee that was overseeing the passengers sweatdropped, not knowing exactly what to say or do. Next to the blue exceed however, sat a slightly shorter female exceed with smooth looking (E/f/c)-colored fur. The female exceed the quickly explains to the still confused male saying, "This always happens on trains and other type of transportation, so you shouldn't worry,"

"Idiot," A tired looking girl muttered, her (H/l) (H/c) swaying slightly as she shifted in her seat. The person responsible for all the commotion laying on her shoulder after complaining for the past few hours about feeling nauseous. After the female shifted however, the pink-haired male began to drool onto her shoulder, the action not going unnoticed receiving an annoyed punch to the back of the head. "Aye," The exceeds agreed in unison, as both sweat dropped at the sight of their partners actions.

Quickly excusing himself from the small cabin, the employee ran away from the scene. Watching the unnamed males' reaction, the two exceeds sighed, feeling slightly embarrassed about their partners' behaviors. Luckily, however, the train finally came to a halt, causing the girl to swiftly shove the taller male off of her. Both exceeds quickly follow after the female, all three failing to notice the pinkette wasn't moving.

"So," The girl began, as she brushed back her messy (H/c)-locks from out of her face. "Where should we start looking for 'Salaman'-Hey where's Natsu?" She asks, just as the train that they exited from began to move again, hearing someone desperately shout, "You forgot me again!"

The now trio all stare silently as the train takes their friend through another grueling train ride. The (H/c)-haired girl beginning the first to speak up saying, "Looks like we're going to be a while," "I'll go get snacks," Grumbled the female exceed, as she makes her way to a nearby food court. Following behind her, the male exceed says, "I'll come with you,"

~Meanwhile Elsewhere~

Inside a small remote magic shop, a blonde-haired girl by the name of Lucy, looked at the owner in shock and disappointment asking, "Is this really the only magic store in the whole town?" "Yes, unfortunately this is sense there aren't many magic folks around here," The male nods, answering the young female's question, before he adds, "I opened this shop mainly for the wizards that happen to pass through,"

"But while you're here, I know exactly what you need-" The storekeeper began, changing the subject, while opening a cabinet to pull out a color-changing magic box. The owner then quickly he explains how to use it, saying, "This is a very popular item with the ladies, it allows you to change the colors of your clothes," "Red... Green..... Blue... Purple...." He demonstrated, using the item on himself.

Instead of being impressed by the demonstration, Lucy shakes her head saying, "No thanks," "I already have one of those," The blonde state her eyes wondering around the store before spotting a key, "Wait, is that Nikora's gate key?" She asks, as she runs over to the key that is inside a glass case. The shopkeeper nods, saying, "Yes," "But I'm afraid it isn't very powerful,"

Ignoring his comment, the female only asks, "How much?" "20,000 jewels," Hearing this, Lucy deadpanned, asking again, "I'm sorry, how much?" "20,000," He repeats his expression never wavering. However, Lucy then sits on top of his counter and tries to act flirtatious towards the older male asking, "Are you sure that you can't lower the price?"
