I tried understand what Monica was trying to say but I'm just so confused.

''Okay so you want me to be Matthew's assistant and fake girlfriend?''

I was becoming more and more stressed but I couldn't hide it, the offer that they were giving me is just not right

''Well yes-s but don't make it sound like were forcing you, its just that Matthew ran into some problems and we need your help to fix it.''

Well that's just stupid I was currently seated at Monica's office trying to understand how the contract works.

''What kind of problem did he run into??" I was very curious I mean what kind problem is it? For me to pretend to be his girlfriend it better be a good damn problem! O M G

Monica was looking kind of embarrassed. what does she have to be embarrassed of? ''Well you see.. Matthew's ex is coming back in a few months and that was umm his first love that ended quite tragically. and yaaaa you figure out the rest I cant be spilling anymore secrets out.''

FIRST LOVE? what the heck that's it? He wants me to pretend to be his girlfriend to make her jealous?! WHAT THE HELL. I aint doing this.

Í got up and grabbed my hand bag. I needed to get out of here before I turn into a big fat tomato. ''I'm sorry I just don't think I'm right to be his 'fake gf.'

''We'll pay you, I mean its going to be kind of like a contract, make everyone believe that you guys are dating and after 1 year you guys will 'break up' and say it just wasn't working out. I know it sounds stupid and YES I do think its also stupid but Matthew needed any ideas and that's what we came up with.''

I stopped and tried to think of what to say ''Why me? there's plenty of fish in the sea.'' I said as I was getting more and more confused.

''Well yes but since you were the new assistant we thought that you could be both! I mean wouldn't that be cute? You sounded like a very nice girl when we talked and I thought that you could do the job.''
I thought about it for a second... I mean I could sure use the money for it.

''Fine ill be his assistant and hired girlfriend?" It was more like a question than an answer.

Her face was full of excitement and joy. ''How much would I get paid for?'' I was curious since he's a super star I mean it must be a lot.''

''Well if its 1 year so you'll get 2 million dollars in the end of the year but you're still his assistant so you also get around 5k a month.''

WTF THAT MUCH?!?!?!?! 5K? WHAT!?!?!?!?! Sooooo there's 12 months in a year so 5k a month and there's 12 what the even heck that's a lot! I don't know you do the math.

I'm just wondering where Matthew is because he was the one that called me and he isn't even here yet.

Monica's phone started ringing but she was in the washroom and I didn't want to answer it since that's none of my bees wax.
5 minutes later Monica came back. ''Oh Monica you're phone was ringing and I'm guessing someone called you.''

Monica called to whoever called her and they had a small conversation which I couldn't hear which also meant I couldn't eaves drop on them hehehehe I do that quite often which is a really bad habit of me, well now that I think about it, its not really a habit its just what every human being does, OBVIOUSLY. DUHHH.

Ate Monica came back and said someone would come and explain more into details which is VERY NEEDED right now. After 30 minutes of waiting here with ate Monica in the lounge area the door finally opened revealing a very hot CEO. ''Matthew, finally you're here!''

HEYYY GUYS!! I know this is kind of a short chapter but I mean common I published 2 chapters this day which I'm super proud of!! The next chapters I promise would definitely be longer and better!
