_Ella_
"Dad... the kids are going to make fun of me..." I complained to Daddy Adam.
"Why would they make fun of you?" He asked.
"Because Im adopted," I lied. That was one of the reasons, but not the main one.
"Elly, I don't think that's the reason," Daddy Adam said crossing his arms. I sighed, not wanting to cry. I was always a sensitive little girl. "Sweetie, its alright. I know, I know." Adam cooed as he picked me up. I was only seven at this time.
"But Daddy Adam... I-I just know they're going to pick on me," I said, my eyes were starting to become watery.
"Shh, its alright baby girl," Adam said as he hugged me.
"But its not, Daddy Adam. Everyone is going to make fun of me," I replied. I heard footsteps coming downstairs, then even faster ones as they ran towards me. It was Daddy Ty.
"What's wrong, Ella?" Daddy Ty asked.
"Shes scared shes going to be made fun of for having two dads," Daddy Adam answered before me.
"Its alright, Elly," Ty said as Daddy Adam put me down. "Hey- Peyton and Tyler are going to be there for you every step of the way, and so are Adam and I."
"I know," I said.
"See, nothing to worry about, Princess. Just know that we love you," Daddy Adam said as he kissed my forehead.
"But... how do I know you love me id I've never met grandma?" I asked, which was true. I never met her before. Adam and Ty stared at each other blankly, and before they could reply, the doorbell went off. Daddy Ty went to go answer it, and it was my best friends, Tyler and Peyton.
"Elly!" The exclaimed as the ran in.
"Hi!" I exclaimed back.
"C'mon Ella! The bus will be here any minute!" Payton said pulling me by my arm out the door.
"Okay! Bye Daddy Ty! Bye Daddy Adam!" I yelled as Tyler, Payton, and myself ran down the street. Of course, we were little at this time, and we didn't check both sides before crossing.
