_Third Person POV_

On April ninth, 2014, Ella Jayla Dahlberg died. She risked her life for her best friend, and died because of it. Adam and Ty were devastated. They're little baby girl had passed away, and they thought part of THEM had died too. Ty locked himself in Adam and his bedroom for two weeks and didn't come out. Adam- being the sweet one who didn't want to interrupt Ty- slept on the couch for two weeks. He was sure Ty came down for food at points, which he did, without saying a word. Adam didn't only sleep on the couch, she slept in Ella's old room in remembrance to her.

Charlotte wanted to kill herself just to be with Ella. Charlotte had to only wear a cast over her arm and have surgery on her shoulder. Ella wasn't so much her best friend, that they were sisters. They planned on traveling the world together, but now they're plans were shattered. Charlotte. followed Ty and never left her bedroom. No matter how much Mitch and Jerome pleaded to get her out and unlock the door, nothing worked. Every time they brought it up she would cry.

But today was April twenty sixth, the day of Ella's funeral. Mitch, Jerome, Adam, Ty, and Charlotte and so many other family members showed up to respect young Ella, but Charlotte didn't speak a word. She would just hang her head in shame like everything was her fault. She wore a black mini dress with matching heels and purse. And what was in the purse? Her favorite picture of Ella and her. It was the last picture they took together before the accident.

Jerome, Ty, Mitch, and Adam all wore black tuxedos and black shoes. Today was the saddest day of them all. Adam kept his head down and stayed over by the small window across the room at the funeral, he didnt't feel like talking to anyone. Mitch and Jerome had not arrived yet, nor Charlotte. Mitch and Jerome were ready back at they're home, but Charlotte was still upstairs. Until they heard a door open, and the clicking off heels hitting the wooden floor.

"Charlotte..." Mitch said as Charlotte walked down.

"You look... Beautiful," Jerome agreed. Charlotte pulled the small veil from her hat down so it covered her left eye.

"Let's just go," Charlotte muttered, and she left. Mitch and Jerome joined her in the car and they drove off. They had arrived at the funeral home not to later, and it was PACKED with people. They Aceti family all walked in, and greeted Ty, Adam did not looked like he wanted to be spoken to.

"Hi, Ty," Mitch greeted as they all walked over.

"Hey guys, hi Charlotte," Ty said, Charlotte said nothing back nor smiled.

"She's still upset," Jerome said.

"I can understand that. Adam hasn't said a word to anyone sense," Ty said, they all looked at Adam starring off out of the window with his hands in his pockets.

"Let me talk to him," Charlotte said, before she could walk off, Mitch pulled her back.

"Char I don't think he wants to talk to anyone," Mitch said.

"Trust me," Charlotte said, and she walked off to Adam. She stood there until he noticed her, but they didn't say anything. Charlotte put her purse down on the table nearby.

"I'm so sorry for you're loss," Charlotte said.

"Thank you, Charlotte," Adam responded for the first time. Charlotte just starred at him before she ran over and hugged him. Adam was shocked at first, then he hugged her back. They stayed like that for two minutes before they broke it. Charlotte reached for her purse and pulled out something of the four things that were in her purse. She took out a picture of Ella when she was seven with Ty and Adam. On it written in pink crayon read: 'LUV MY DADYS FOREVER -ELLA.' Charlotte handed it to Adam as he starred at it. He whiped his tears and looked at Charlotte, "thank you."

"You're welcome," Charlotte responded as she walked back to her parents and Ty. Adam came over and everyone talked for a bit, then, Charlotte walked over to Ella's lifeless body. Ella had her arms across her chest and she held her favorite flower, pink roses in her hands. Her eyes were closed and her blonde hair layed across her shoulders. Ella was also in a light pink dress with matching flats, the dress Ella picked out to wear when she died. Charlotte had done the same, they picked them out two years ago when they were thirteen. Charlotte smiled at Ella remembering the times when they were little kids.

After that, everyone- including Ella- was moved to an grave yard where she was burried. As soon as she was, everyone threw all sorts of flowers onto her grave. A lot of people started to cry, but Charlotte held back her tears. People began to speak, and everyone wanted Charlotte too, but she couldn't.

"Has everyone spoke?" Adam asked, everyone nodded except Charlotte.

"I would like to," Charlotte answered. She pulled out  a small speaker from her purse and plugged  it into her phone. "Ella told me to play this at her funeral when I visited her in the hospital," Charlotte announced. She clicked on a song called '18 Years' and it started playing.

"Ella Jayla Dahlberg was a very smart young girl. She was also my best friend. When we were twelve years old, Ella and I ran away together, hoping to escape life. But, we realized running from your problems isn't the answer, so we came back. Ella always reggreted it until she was fourteen, and she realized how lucky she was to have Adam and Ty as her parents. But, that wasn't the hardest memory for us to both re-live. The hardest one for me, was remembering how shaken up she was at the hospital when I held her like a daughter, and she kept crying and saying 'I don't want to let you go.' Well, if Ella is listening I wan't you to know that letting go of you is like letting go of the stars... and the moon... and the sun. I can do it, but if I do, I'll die. Ella Jayla Dahlberg was a fighter, a very smart and pretty young girl... And mostly," Charlotte paused, "she was a warrior."
