(The last chapter! Ah, it feels good to have another book off my chest, but this one was one of my favorites:( But still! Here's an extra long chapter for you guys! Love you!
XOXOXO, Allie)"What?" I asked.
"A new daughter. I think we're ready and, Ty and I really want to raise a child. She can be a teenager, a baby, I don't care. Just a daughter, even a son," Adam explained.
"Adam I... I don't know... Do you think your ready?" I questioned.
"We've been raising Ella for fifteen years, Mitch. I think we can handle a child. Maybe even two," he answered.
"Adam that's not my call. It's up to you and Ty," I said.
"I know... I was just wondering what you think," he said.
"In MY opinion, I think you could handle it. But nobody, and I mean NOBODY, could replace Ella," I said.
"Alright cool. I'm going to talk to Ty about it tomorrow," he said.
"Alright. Goodnight Adam," I said. And then, he hung up. I walked back upstairs and joined Jerome in bed. He was shirtless and laying on the right side, so he was facing my side. I went to my side of the bed, Jerome was asleep. I got under the covers and kissed his nose, he fluttered his eyes open and smiled at me.
"Hi," he whispered. "Who was on the phone?"
"Adam. Guess what he's doing," I answered.
"What?" He asked.
"Adam and Ty want to adopt another kid," I explained.
"Well, that's great for them," he said.
"Yeah. Well, he's going to let me know tomorrow. Let's just go to bed, okay baby?" I asked.
"Okay. Night," he said. And with that, we fell asleep._Adam_
_The Next Morning_"Adam... Adam... SKY!" Yelled Ty as he tried to awake me.
"What?" I groaned.
"Breakfast!" Ty answered. I stepped out of bed and walked downstairs to see Ty cooking bacon and eggs on the new stove we bought. I smiled at him then walked into the living room and turned on the TV. Boring news, nothing really knew. After Ty and I ate our breakfast, I decided to talk to him about a new daughter and or son.
"Ty?" I called, I heard footsteps as Ty came down the stairs.
"Yah?" He asked.
"Remember what we talked about a couple of days ago... About getting a new daughter or son?" I asked, he nodded. "I never got your answer on what you think."
"Weeeelllll..... I'm honestly not sure, Sky. I mean, we both loved Ella, and I do want someone to raise, and to watch them graduate and get married one day.. But, what if we get a new daughter and the same thing happens to them?" Ty asked, I starred at him.
"Ty, there was nothing we could have done about that. It wasn't our fault, never mind her's. I think we can raise someone, maybe two. But the real question is; are YOU ready?" I asked. He nodded.
"I think so," he replied. I smiled back at him, and then kissed his cheek. "Boy or girl?"
"Well, I was thinking maybe both. A baby boy and a fifteen or sixteen year old girl," I answered.
"I like the idea. When?" He asked.
"Whenever we have the rooms ready I guess," I replied.
"Then we'll need some help," he said. He reached over and picked up the phone and called somebody.
"Hey Jerome, its Ty. We were wondering if you, Mitch, and Charlotte would want to come down and help us with a... Project," Ty said, then he paused. "Great. Come by as soon as possible, and, bring clothes that you don't care about. Things are going to get messy," Ty said, then he hung up.Ten minutes later, Jerome and Mitch showed up.
"Hey. Sorry, Charlotte didn't come. She's going through some things at the moment," Mitch explained.
"That's fine. Come on in," I said, and they did. They noticed the paint buckets on the floor, Jerome pointed to them.
"What's that for?" He asked.
"Well, we need your help. We've decided to get two more kids after talking about it, and we need your help so set up bedrooms," Ty explained.
"Sounds fun!" Mitch exclaimed.
"Yeah. Jerome, Sky, you guys can go work on our new daughters room. Mitch and I will work on our sons room," Ty said. Everyone nodded, grabbed paint and brushes, and went our different ways.
Jerome and I went upstairs to Ella's old room and started to paint. Ella's old wall were light pink, so we started to paint the walls a ocean blue. Ty and Mitch went to the extra room we had next to the living room and painted the walls a darker shade of blue._After Painting, Mitch and Jerome Left And It Was Just Adam And Ty_
"The rooms look amazing Ty," I said with a smile.
"Our girl is going to be so happy," Ty agreed, I wrapped his arm around him.
"And the boy. Ty you and Mitch did amazing work," I said.
"Thanks Sky. When should we go look?" I asked.
"We could go now," I said.
"Great! Let's go get changed," Ty responded. We both went upstairs and changed into nice clothes and drove off. The adoption centers name was 'PAIGE'S HOME FOR YOUNG CHILDREN' We held hands as we walked inside together. It was very nice, and a girl with pink hair, green eyes, and glasses was at the front desk. She noticed us and smiled.
"Hi! How may I help you?" She asked.
"Um, hi. Are you Paige?" Ty asked.
"No, I'm Shannon, Paige's daughter. Paige is out right now, but I'm the manager. How may I help you?" Shannon answered.
"Hi Shannon. My husband and I were looking to adopt a teenage daughter and a young boy," I explained.
"Oh! Fantastic. Ages?" She asked as she typed on a computer.
"For a girl, fifteen to sixteen, and for a boy, one or two," Ty answered, Shannon typed again.
"Okay, I have the profiles of the boys first, and we only have three that are those ages. We have Timothy, Jarred, and the youngest, Dylan," Paige said.
"Can you pull up Dylan's?" I asked, she nodded and typed on the computer, then turned it to us so we could see.
"He's one and two months, he has brown hair and chocolate eyes, he's five and a half pounds and eleven inches," she explained.
"Sky? What do you think?" Ty asked.
"I like him," I agreed.
"Perfect. Now for girls," Shannon said, then she typed on the computer and showed us a few girls.
"From those ages, we have Avalon, Kate, Julie, Alissa, and no-name," she explained.
"What? No-name?" Ty and I asked.
"She was abandoned when she was born in an old log cabin, and she never remembered her name. She was abandoned very young so that's why," Shannon explained.
"Profile?" Ty asked.
She pulled it up on the computer. "She has brown hair and green eyes, she's sixteen, 5'4, and we don't know how much she weighs."
"So, if we chose her, we would get to pick her name?" I asked.
"Ugh, yeah," Shannon answered.
"Ty?" I asked facing him, he nodded.
"We'll take Dylan and her," we said. She smiled, then handed us a few papers.
"Fill these out while I go get Dylan and no-name," she ordered, we nodded.
"I already know what I want to name her," I said as we filled out the papers.
"What?" he asked.
"Jayla," I answered. "Jay for short."
"I love it," Ty agreed. We filled out the papers, then Shannon came back upstairs with baby Dylan in her arms. then she came over and handed him to Ty.
"There's Dylan, she smiled, I gave her the papers.
"Here," I said.
"Thank you... Adam and Tyler," Shannon said. "Alright. I'll go grab no-name." And with that, she left. She went upstairs, then came back down two minutes later. She had Jayla with her, but Jayla looked shy.
"Hi," Jayla whispered.
"Sweetheart, these are the two men that want to adopt you. This is Adam and Tyler Dahlberg," Shannon smiled.
"Oh... Okay..." She sighed.
"So, we heard you have no name. Weeeeelll, sense were adopting you... We thought of a good name for you," Ty smiled.
"Which is?" She asked.
"What do you think about Jayla? Jay for short," I answered, she smiled then giggled.
"I love it," she responded, then she walked over to us. I hugged her, and she hugged back. Ty joined us with Dylan in his arms. "Who's this?"
"This is your younger brother Dylan," I answered.
"He's adorable," Jayla giggled. We all looked down at him, when he opened his chocolate eyes and giggled. Then, he said something I never thought I'd hear a baby say to me.
"Daddy!"
