So much left to do.-Modern!Hercules x Meg(oneshot)

Hercules was so scared.  Meg was in the operating room, probably dieing.  No.  He couldn't think like that.  Meg would make it!  He had too!  They were gonna get married in a few weeks.  Phil was trying to calm the kid down, but nothing was working.

"Herc!  Ya gotta calm down!  He'll be fine!  Meg wouldn't let Hades get his goat before he married ya!  He loves ya too much for that!"  Phil was a short, fat man with a balding head.  Phil was a close friend to Herc's adopted father.

"He's right son,  Meg is a strong lad.  He'll make it through this."

"But what if he doesn't pop?  What if.... what if he dies?  It would be all my fault!  I should have listened to him when he said not to go into that part of town!  Because of me he's-"

"Hercules stop it." his adoptive mother said."Megara being in the hospital is not your fault!  If anything it was Hades's fault for having his goon drive into that coulmn!  Those two are arrested now and on their way to prison."  Just then, his real parents walked up.

"Once this is all done you can find yourself a nice woman and stop dreaming with this man."  He gave his 'father'  a discusted look.  Hera pulled her husband to sit.  Just then the doctor came.  Hercules stood up bolt stright.

"We have him stable, you may go see him."  Herc ran into the room.  When he saw Meg he broke down.  He fell to his knees and sobbed.  His mom and dad sat with him and hugged him.  He cried.  Meg was hooked up to machines and bags and wires.  He looked so much different from the strong willed guy he was gonna marry.

"Meg...."  he got up.  He walked over to the bed.  The others left.  Hercules broke down again.

"Im so sorry Meg!  I should have pulled you away before you got crushed!  Please wake up.  Please be ok."  He felt someone put their hand on his cheek.  He grabbed the hand and looked.

"Meg you're up!"

"Hey wonderboy."

"Meg im so sorry!  When all this is done I'll do everything in my power to make it right."

"Hush.  It's not...not your fault.  Herc...i want you to find someone else."

"What?  Meg no I-."

"Hercules you can't keep holding onto me forever.  I'll just end up hurting you.  I always do."

"If this is about what my father said you shouldn't listen to him!  He doesnt know what-!"

"Hercules!  It's not him... You can't marry a dead man."

"Meg what?"

"I want you to live your life.  I can tell I'm not making it out of this mess wonderboy."

"No...no Meg you'll be fine.  You'll get better.  We'll have everything we wanted.  Just stay alive.  Please.  For me.  I can't loose you."  He was about to cry again.

"Hecules please,  you have to let me go.  I love you."

"I love you too.  Please stay with me... please..."  Meg closed his eyes and his hand relaxed.

"Meg....?  MEG!"   The doctors rushed in, pushing the giant man out of the room.  Herc sobbed again.  Little did he know, his father was watching all of that.  He pulled the doctor to the side.

"Give this man your best treatments.  I don't care what it costs just do it."  The doctor nodded, walking into the room.

Weeks later, just days before the wedding, Meg woke up.

"Wha-?  How?"

"Meg!  Oh my gods!"  He hugged his fiancé.
