(yes, this was requested. and I. am. SO HAPPY!  I LOVE THIS SHIP!  ok, I know neither are them are a prince/princess, but who gives a fuck? also, im mixing ideas of the live action movie and the disney movie together)

James Hook sighed as he looked out on the dark, empty ocean.  He was concerned.  Not because the ship's rations were low.  No, they had plenty of food and water.  Not because of attacks by the Indians.  Actually, they had been rather peaceful lately.  No.  It was because of the lack of Peter Pan over the course of the week.  They hadn't seen feather nor fairy of Pan all week.  This was perplexing to the captain.  Usually Pan and his band of hooligans attacked once a day at least, sometimes more.  Hook twisted his mustache lightly with his hook.

"Where are you pan?"  Just then, he saw something green sitting on a plank of wood sticking out from the ship.  From under the green hat, rested soft, orange-brown hair.  In the cap it's self, sat a bright, red feather.  He was just sitting there, not even thinking about attacking.  Hook banged on the wood above Peter's head, making the boy look up.

"And just what do you think you are doing here Pan?"  it was only for a moment that James thought he saw a flicker of sadness in the young boy's eyes.  However, as soon as it came, it was gone as quick as it came.  And soon his confidant, chraming, happy smile was back on his smug little face.  He flew up infront of the captain.

"Oh nothing, i was just bored is all."  He said, pulling his legs so he was sitting criss-cross in mid air.  Hook glared.

"Well why dont you bother you're little lost boys or something?"  Then, something James never expected happened, Peter Pan fell out of the air.  He didn't just flicker down. No.  He hit the deck so hard Hook heard some of the crew stir.  He didn't know why.  This boy was always in the air.  Then it hit him.  Almsot as hard as Peter had hit the deck.

'Think of any marry thing Jamie!  Its the same as having wings!'  That's what he would say to him when he was a lost boy, and could never take flight.

'So,' Hook thought. 'Pan's run out of happy little thoughts has he?'  James would never admit it, but he was worried for his best friemd and/or his arch nemisis.  The boy always had happy thoughts to spare.  Perks of having eternal youth.

"Run out of happy thoughts eh Pan?"  Hook said with a smirk.  What litte part of him that was still Jamie winced when Pan shot him an icey glare that could challenge even Captain Hook.  He stood up and sat on the edge of the ship.

"Yeah? So what?"  Hook was actually shocked, and it showed on his face.  The Peter he knew always had a happy thoughts.  He was always surrounded by... oh no.

"What um... what happened?"  Peter looked at him, looking deep into his soul almost.  He must have seen something, someone, in him he could trust, because he saw a tear slip down one of his slim cheeks.

"The lost boys left."

"What?"

"They left! All of them!  They went with that..."  Hook knew this look.  Peter was forgetting something.  This time, he was forgeting Wendy.

"Well, whatever it was, it left with all the lost boys."

"Well what about tinkerbell and Tiger Lilly?"

"That's difderent!  They're girls!"  Hook chuckled.  Pan would never change.  But, then he saw the sadness in his former friend's eyes.  He sighed.

"Peter I..."  He didn't know what to say.  He has been here for over 200 years, but Peter had been here much much longer.  And he has never seen him cry.  But the tears slipped from those green eyes like the waterfall in mermaid lagoon.  He looked in his eyes.

"You don't need to say anything.  I know you're still Jamie, even if you don't show it."  James couldn't take it anymore.  He kissed his best friend like he needed it to breathe.  Peter didn't even blink as he kissed back.  He missed this.  The closeness to the youthfull sprite.  He was devistated when he saw he was still growing up.  He knew he wouldn't be able to stay a lost boy, and he felt spitefull of Peter.  But now. Now he didn't.  Mabey it was because he saw how truely dependant the boy was for other people's compainy.  When the two parted for air, Peter smiled a huge smile.  He took to the air.  He swooped back down and pressed a quick kiss to Hook's lips.

"Thanks Jamie.  I needed you back."  For the first time in he didn't know when.  Hook smiled.  A true, loving smile.

"Aye, just like I needed you back Pan."

"Just don't forget, during the day you're still a smelly old cod fish."

"And you're just a spoiled little brat."  The two laughed.

"Musent ruin the game eh Pan?"

"Course not, that would be bad form."  They kissed once more as Peter flew back to his hide away.  James smiles.

He really did miss Peter Pan.
