Prompt: Kaldur and Roy have been dating happily for the last 9 months. All of that changes because of the right place, and the wrong time. Will Arthur make Kaldur break up with Roy. Or will Kaldur fight back.
Chapter 1: The choice
Kaldur's pov
Me and Roy were at the cave watching tv with my head in his lap. We have been dating for the past 9 months and we have been so happy. My team knows that we are a couple and they lie to both of our mentors to help us out from time to time. Neither of our mentors know about this. We hear the cave call out a name but we can not hear who. We were about to get up to see who it was. Roy gave me a sweet kiss on the lips and then I moved my head. We heard a gasp and look over the couch to see both of our mentors looking at us. I know we were in trouble and I held Roy's hand from under the blanket.
"You two have about 3 seconds to tell us what the hell are you two doing." Oliver demanded.
My king said nothing, just looking at me with a angry and confused look on his face. I grip Roy's hand and looked at him.
"What does it look like? I'm spending time with my boyfriend. What are you doing?" Roy says.
"You two are what?!" Arthur screamed.
His booming voice made me jump a little. Roy placed his hand on my knee and rubbed it soothingly.
"We have been together for 9 months now. We fell in love." I said in a soft but loud voice.
My hand was shaking in Roy's hand. He stroked it with his thumb.
"Kaldur come with me. Now!" My king ordered.
I squeezed Roy's hand and left with my king. We walked out to the meeting room and he shut the door.
"How long?" He asked.
"9 months." I squeaked.
"No. How long until you were going to tell me?"
"In 3 months."
"I want you to leave him."
"My king please I beg of you. I love him. Please be reasonable."
"I am. You are not. You have two options. 1 you stay with him and you will be taken back to Atlantis immediately. 2 you break up with him and you may stay here. Your choice."
"Why do are you so against me loving Roy?"
"Because he is Oliver's boy that is why."
"The fact that he is Oliver's boy has nothing to due with me dating Roy at all."
"I will give you until Thursday. If not I will make the decision for you."
With that I walked out of the room and looked at Roy fighting with Oliver. Oliver left and I ran to my room. I heard footstep behind me and a voice calling to me but I ignored it. I sat in my bed and cried in my hands. Roy opened the door and took me into his arms. I collapsed in his arms and cried in his shoulder.
"It's ok baby. Don't cry. I got ya. It's ok. Calm down. Sh. Sh. Your safe."
I shook my head and I got out of the embraced. I climb to the back if the bed and rested my back against it. Roy came up next to me and I buried my head in his neck.
"What did Arthur say to you? What did he do to hurt my little angelfish?"
"He told me the if I didn't break up with you I would be force to go back to Atlantis. If I do I get to stay here. But we could not see each other."
I sobbed to him. He rubbed my back and took a deep breath.
"Kaldur. I want you to break up with me. If you did then I would be able to see you. But not the way we were."
"No! I love you too much to let you go. Please don't make me!" I begged him with more tears.
"Sh. Sh. It's ok. I would still be with you. But I would never be able to kiss you or hold you. I will never stop being your Roy. I'll text you everyday. I'll call you every night. I'll even come and ask for help on my personal missions. Even if I don't need help. You can still keep my hoodie if you want."
He explained. I cried into his chest. I hugged him as tight as I could. I nodded into his shirt. I lifted my head to look in his eyes.
"I have until Thursday to make my decision. Can we be with each other until then?"
"Of course baby. Now give me a kiss and let's go find that pie I put in the fridge. Ok."
I nodded and him a sweet kiss. We got up and left for the kitchen. We we got there my whole team was there. I looked at them and hugged Roy.
