Telling the team
Roy pov
The team looked at me and Kaldur. They knew something was wrong but I left it to Kaldur to tell them. I can't believe the Arthur would make Kaldur choose between his team and me. Well in reality it was his king or me, but you get the point.
"Kaldur's what's wrong?" Megan asked.
"Me and Roy have to break up." Kaldur said.
"What?! Why!" They all screamed.
"My king does not approve."
"But you two are perfect together." Artemis said.
"When do you have to make your decision?" Conner asked.
"Thursday." I answered.
"We're sorry. To both of you." Robin said.
I nodded to him. Kaldur placed his face in my neck and I wrapped my arms around him in a protective manner. I heard him hummed in approval and nuzzled closer. Megan and Artemis awed and cooed at us and he blushed
"You're so cute when you blush." I commented and kissed his red cheek.
He gave me a little shove and went to the kitchen. He pulled out the chocolate cream pie and gave me a fork. I took the pie and lifted it in the air because Wally came running in to try and take it. He hit the wall. We were laughing as me and Kaldur took a bite out of the cake. Some of the cream was on the conner of his mouth and I gently kissed it away. He lunged for a deeper kiss and it lasted longer. I felt his tears on my cheek. I brought my hand to his cheek and wipe them away.
"I love you Roy ." I nuzzle my nose in his cheek.
"I love you too Kal Bal."
"I love you more."
"I love you the most."
"Not possible Roy."
He gave me a hug and my heart sunk when I felt him shaking. I knew he didn't want to dump me but I told him it was the only way for us to still able to talk to each other.
"Your doing the right thing. You know that right babe." I told him.
"Then why do I feel miserable."
"Because its you heart telling you not to dump me. Let me ask you something. If I ever jump off a ship would you jump with me."
"Of course."
"That's not true love then. True love is if I ever jumped off a ship, You would love me enough not to jump with me. If we both jump then we would both be dead and that seems rather wasteful."
"Then I will not jump. Just love me from the sky." I smiled and kissed his temple.
"That I can do. Come on. Lets put on a movie." I took his hand and we walked toward his room.
