The next weekend came around quite quickly. Joey and his family, including his two sisters, Bella and Sophia, had come along to the bowling alley.
Before the game, Joey came up to you and smiled.
"If I win, I'm your boyfriend again," he smirked, and you rolled your eyes at him.
"No way," you snapped, still mad at him.
"If I lose, you get to chose where we stand in our relationship," Joey says lightly.
You bite your lip, and stare at the bowling ball in you hands. You still want to date Joey, because you love him still. But you're mad at him, and you don't want to date him yet.
"I'm not placing any bets with you, Joey," you say weakly.
"Oh, love, if only it was that simple for you," he smirks again, then walks over to his family.

So, you ended up winning, again. And you went home, barely speaking to Joey on the way out.
In fact, when your parents were talking outside and Joey's sisters went to go get drinks from the food bar, and you both were walking outside to meet your parents, he tried talking to you. But every single time you shot him down.
"So did you enjoy yourself?" Joey asked.
"Yep," you lied.
"You won," he stated.
"Yep," you repeat.
"You going home straight away?" he asks.
"Yes," you say.
"Text me, okay?" he asks.
"I'll get around to it," you mumble, then walk faster to get away from him.
You hate it how you're being so mean to him. You don't even know why you're acting this way. All you've ever wanted was Joey, and you can have him. But something inside is saying that you're not yet complete, that you haven't been satisfied yet.
You want Joey. You really do. And you can have him. But having Joey won't fix what needs to be fixed. The worst part of all, is that you don't even know what needs to be fixed to make you happy with Joey.
