Chapter 80: Sorry...

 Papyrus fell on his knees and said - I'm sorry...- and you stood in silence. - I'm sorry...for everything I've done...- Papyrus said and then he fell to the floor. You didn't know what to do, you thought that he was crazy and started to slowly stand up, but he said - I'm sorry for killing everyone you loved...- and you stood in silence. - I've recently noticed that...what I did was wrong...would you forgive me?...can we still be friends?...- and you finally spoke - I don't know...I need time...- and Papyrus exclaimed - I need your response now!!!...I don't want to love like this anymore...I don't want to stalk you anymore...I just want to be friends...would you give that chance?...- and then you started to think."What's this?!?!?!...I don't know what to say...what if what he says is true...or what if what he says is just a plan to try something on me...should I trust him?...should I ditch him?..." and then he said - I need you to respond right now...before it's too late...- and you said - What?...what's the hurry?...- and Papyrus exclaimed - There is no time!!!...just tell me the truth...would you please forgive me...for every weird and creepy thing I've done since we met...would you?...- and you said - I...I think...I think I can give you a second chance but- but before you could finish speaking, Papyrus hugged you, you hugged him back and stared at him confused. - I promise I won't do anything...from now on...we will be BEST FRIENDS!!!...- Papyrus said while crying. You thought that it was fine to be friends with him, but just friends... When the hug ended, Papyrus wiped out his tears and looked at you...but...that look didn't last long...he saw, quite far from where you were, someone approaching. You noticed that he was looking behind you, so you also turned around to see. You saw Toriel approaching but she looked weird...she seemed to be...mad?. Papyrus reacted - Oh no...- and you asked - Why is she like that?...- and Papyrus said - I don't know...she has been quite strange lately...- . And then, when she was closer, you noticed that she was all covered in blood. She shouted - Y/N!!!...I'm coming for you next!!!...- and you, scared started to run, Papyrus went with you. While running, Sans popped out in front of you and made you stop. Sans couldn't say anything because Toriel was preparing to attack you. He hit her with a Gaster Blaster, but she came back. Fortunately, at that moment, the police arrived. Before Sans could stop Toriel's second attack, the cop grabbed her by one arm and then the other, after that he put her handcuffs and took her to the car. Soon, another patrol arrived and took you to the Police Apartment to ask you some questions. You and Papyrus were able to leave quite soon, but Sans had to stay for the whole night, answering questions.

 On the way back to your home, Papyrus offered to walk to your home with you only if you wanted, you accepted. You asked him a lot of questions about his dark secret, he responded them all with shame. Finally you made him your last question - Hey, whose blood do you think it was the one that Toriel got on?...- and Papyrus responded - I don't know...maybe, tomorrow the police will tell us the response...- and you only stared down. When you reached your house you said goodbye to Papyrus. Remember the doubt you had a few seconds ago?...well...with what you saw inside your house cleared that doubt. You saw your parents' corpses on the ground with their guts opened. There was a burning smell coming from the bodies, you reached the conclusion that Toriel killed them with a fireball or something like that but before reaching that conclusion, you shouted and cried in insanity.

 Author's note: Sorry...for being absent for so long...it's that I've been depressed for personal issues and I needed time to recover...also for studying... But that's old news. I've reunited the strength to finish this story. In theory, we should be by the end, but I've decided to write everything that's left between this week and the next one, just to reach with tranquility the end of the year. I promise I won't be absent anymore. NOT EVEN DEATH WILL STOP ME okno xD. See you! :D
