The day passed by in a blur for Eddie as he waited for night once more. He spent the day in his bed, listening to the strokes on his Walkman. Sonia occasionally bursting in to give him pills.

As she gave Eddie his last round of pills for the night she looked back and eyed the boy that laid on his bed.

"You should really start exercising Edward. You gaining a little," she said as she slammed the door and Eddie threw up his middle finger.

Fuck you he thought. Then he looked down at his legs and sighed, maybe she was right.

Night finally approached as Eddie sat in his room in despair, and he hopped out his window once more and saw all the losers gathered already near his street.

"Hey guys!" Eddie shouted and Richie ran at the boy, wrapped his arms around him and lifted him up into the air, and kissed him sloppily on the cheek.

Setting the boy down carefully Richie smirked "you're so light eds, thought I was lifting a feather," and Eddie laughing and hugged Richie tightly. He was so perfect.

"S-so what should we do?" Bill asked.

"What about that old park down Jackson avenue? It's abandoned right?" Eddie suggested.

"Sounds good!" Beverly shouted into the air and she started off towards the park.

They soon arrived at the park and started to jump the fence that kept it closed off from them.

Eddie hopped on a swing and Richie proceeded to push him. Stan sat at the bottom of a slide and started talking to Ben and mike. Beverly ran over to an old seesaw and called bill over.

Eddie smiled at everyone having fun, it was a perfect moment.

Beverly jumped off the seesaw and Bill fell to the ground. The two burst out into laughter. Beverly ran over to Bill and helped him stand up.

"Sorry about that," she said still smiling.

"N-no w-w-worries" he said, taking Beverlys hand and standing up. Beverly, still holding his hand, led Bill over to a patch of grass and The two sat down.

Bill looked down and noticed he still hasn't let go of bevs hand, he started blushing.

Beverly took bills other hand in hers and they looked at eachother.

"You l-luh-L-look really b-bu-b-beautiful tonight b-b-b-ev" he said and she smiled.

"I'm all sweaty, but thanks" she said, laughing.

Bill couldn't think of anything to say at that moment. He was so nervous too, being this close to Beverly, holding both her hands. And Bill wasn't really ever good with words anyway.

"Hey so-" Beverly started to say and Bill brought his face to hers and pressed his lips against her lips. He kissed her soft at first, waiting for her to push him off at any moment and yell at him, but then she kissed back. The two started making out in the small patch of grass when Beverly pulled away.

"Hey so, Bill," she said, slightly blushing from what just happened. "Do you wanna...I don't know....hang out sometime. Just you and me?" She asked, hoping Bill knew what she was trying to ask.

"B-b-Bev will y-yu-you go out w-w-with me?" He asked and Beverly smiled and she pulled him Into a kiss. The two stayed making out when Eddie noticed what was going on and Shouted

"Finally you two got together! It's about time!" And the whole gang started laughing, including Bev and Bill.

After a couple hours of hanging out at the park, the gang decided to start walking home. They all climbed over the fence and headed off towards their houses.

Richie was walking with Eddie and holding his hand, Stan was walking a couple feet behind them with Ben and mike. Bev and Bill were in front of Richie and Eddie, holding hands also.

"Is there anyway you're gonna be ungrounded tomorrow?" Richie asked, feeling sad that he was dropping off his boyfriend at Sonia's house again.

"No way, not until I'm cured Sonia said," he responded, also feeling sad.

"God I hate her." Richie spat.

Eddie smiled, he then looked at Richie, except when he saw Richie there were two of him. The boy looked forward and saw his vision was crossed eyed, there was two of everything. He frowned

He stopped dead in his tracks, threw his hands up to his head and tried to steady himself. The world swayed before him, and was going blurry.

He heard Richie say "are you okay?" But the boy couldn't form the words to say no. He looked up and saw Richie shaking Eddie and there were words coming out of his mouth but the boy couldn't hear anything.

The world swayed and dipped again and the edges of his vision started going black. He looked up at Richie and without saying anything Richie saw in eddies eyes that something wasn't right. That Eddie was in trouble.

Eddie reached out for something to grip but he found nothing. The blackness around the edges of his vision spread and now took up almost all his vision.

He felt his body go limp and the blackness took over as he saw Richie scream. That's when Eddie hit the floor, unconscious and that's when Stan dialed 911.
