Chapter 2

Catherine's POV

"Hunny, wake up! It's your birthday!" Mum wakes.

I open my eyes, getting used to the light that was bleeding in through my blue and gold curtains.

"Five more minutes," I groan lightly.

Mum sighs and says, "You have mail."

I sit up and I look at her.

"Hogwarts?" I ask, hope glistening in my eyes and heart.

"Come down and find out!" Mum chuckles walking out of the room.

I get dressed in my birthday dress:

I'm finally 11! I run downstairs to find Mum, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, and Scorpius waiting for me.

I smile at everyone and Mum hands me the letter. The Hogwarts seal. I open the letter, trying not to rip any special parchment.

Dear Catherine Malfoy,
Congratulations, you have been accepted into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Here is the list of things you will need for your school year. Please report back no later than August 31st.
Your Headmistress,
Minerva McGonagall

My hand covered my mouth. The Minerva McGonagall? My parents told me how brave she was in the Battle of Hogwarts!

"I'm going to Hogwarts!" I squeal.

I jump up and down, my golden hair bouncing along with my movement.

"We have plans to go to Diagon Alley. For your school supplies," Dad smiles.

I look up at my family. Just so happy that my chance is finally here. I finally get to go to Hogwarts!

(Okay, so second chapter and first chapter all done in a day. Phew! Better make it three to four though. More fun for me and you. I decided to do a face reveal, so here goes nothing!:
