The Hufflepuff Princess [ON HOLD]

Chapter 3

Catherine's POV

Diagon Alley. I never thought I'd see the day where I'd get my own things for Hogwarts. I ran down the magical alley, shops surrounded me. A smile was plastered on my face, and I was looking either like an idiot or someone who was very excited.

I walked inside Ollivander's wand shop, excited to get my wand. I saw a boy my age getting his first wand. He had dirty blonde hair, pale skin, and green eyes. Wearing a dark green button up shirt, which was short sleeved, a jean jacket, and blue jeans.

The doorbell jingled as the door closed once more. Ollivander looked up from the boy to me and smiled.

"Lexi! Come down please!" Ollivander commanded.

A girl about my age with brown short hair came down.

"Yes grandfather?" The girl asked.

"Can you help this young lady find her wand?" Ollivander asked.

She smiled and waved me over to her. Walking towards her, she grabbed a wand from the shelf and walked back to me. She handed the wand to me and told me to try it out.

As soon as I touched it, it glowed blue and it faded soon after.

The girl's expression soon turned to shock.

"That is a very special wand, you are extremely lucky for it to choose you," Lexi informed.

I hummed in interest, "Cool!"

"What House do you wanna be in?" Lexi asked.

I grinned brightly, "Definitely Hufflepuff. I guess Slytherin would be okay though I guess."

"I wanna be in Ravenclaw. I think it's the best House in my opinion," Lexi stated.

"Wait, you're going to Hogwarts too?" I asked, surprised.

She nodded, "I can tell we're gonna be besties already!"

I giggled, "Yeah! I agree."

"Lexi, do you want to go shopping with your new friend?" Ollivander asked his granddaughter with a warm smile.

"Yes please!" Lexi grinned but faded, "Don't you need me to help you though?"

"No I got it. Now here you go and be safe," Ollivander warned.

"Thank you!" Lexi thanked him and turned to me, "Let's go!"

I smiled and we went to get our things for Hogwarts. Glad to have new friends already.
