Nature. Why don't we save it?
A storm, the wind
A breeze that sings
A beautiful melody
Played on my hearts strings
It touched my heart, my mind, my soul
It gave repreive from a days heavy toll
The sun, the warmth
Seeps through my skin
The light, so bright
Shines through thick and thin
I see the green, the endless blue
Beautiful, neverending truth
Feel the cool, fresh touch
Gently sweeping the shores, a great rush
Up and down, all around
Everywhere you turn, it's there
You look but you never see
You touch but you forget to feel
Hear the the rush, the caressing wind
Feel the gentle waves on your skin
Hear the music that it always sings
See the magical beauty it brings
Upturned, upside down
Don't you see what's going wrong?
Its all right there, right here and now
But we just don't care enough
We shut our mind out to it's beauty
Rather preferring stick and stones
Over the natural bounties
It a lucky gift that we have
One that we exploit thoughtlessly
So easy to destroy it
Such a burden to save it
But look around you for once
Not see but carefully look, and think
What would you do without it?
Don't you WANT to save it?
