Part 21: Sick Evie

After exchanging byes with Liam and Sarah. I rushed my car to the car and turned on the radio loud. And guess what! The song it played was 'love me like you do' by 'Ellie Goulding'.
That song just increased the fire into me. I was so angry seeing Harry with Nicole. Why the hell he has to be with her always. Why the hell he has to touch her in front of me, when I want him to touch me. Now I admit, I was way too jealous. I just increased the speed of my car.
I don't know what am I going to do with myself today.
Then suddenly the lyrics bursted out of the speakers 'love me like you do la la love me like you do, touch me like you do! What are you waiting for?" listening that, flames ran through my body.
'Oh you are here to 'miss Brook'' those words of Harry started spinning round my head.
Then suddenly the day of my accident flashed in front of me, I imagined Harry's condition. If something happened to me now, don't know what will happen. I know that man still loves me but he is just pretending the words at spit at him few days earlier in my room. Thinking of him in his worst condition due to me, the consequences we faced due to my accident, I slowed down my car. I turned the radio channel and lower the volume. I took a breath, stopped thinking about everything and reached home.

Jason was already sleeping in his room.
I went to him, laid beside him, wrapped my arms around him, kissed his forehead and felt asleep.

Next morning.
Don't know why but after I woke up today, I was feeling damn sick, my body felt warm and weak. Maybe the stress these days has affected by body.
I just wanted to sleep more but I had to complete my tasks.

I was sitting in my living room with my laptop.
Jason was at school so the house was way too silent.
My head was spinning right now. I took the medicine and rest my head back on the couch. I closed my eyes and they were so warm. After some time I started coughing. My condition was miserable.
Suddenly my phone buzzed which gave me a stroke of irritation in my head.
I picked it.
"Hello?"
"Is it Miss. Evelyn Brook?" A lady asked for confirmation.
"Yes! Who is this?"
"Ma'am I'm Mr. Harry Styles secretary, Meghan. He wants you and Mr. Payne to show up at his office in an hour for some important signatures and legal proceedings"
What the hell! I was going mad with my health and now this! But I think I should move out to breath some fresh air and also I can't neglate my business. I want fresh air or want to see Harry?
"Yeah okay! We will be there in an hour" I replied and ended the call.

I went into room and picked an outfit. I was feeling to cold suddenly.

I called Liam to check if he was ready.
"Hey!"
"Liam, did you receive any call from Harry's office?"
"Yeah! And I'm ready but I have to drop Sarah somewhere so I'll be little late. You go ahead"
"Uhm....ya okay....no problem....just....just don't be late"
"Yeah, what happen to you? You sound low! Are you okay?"
"Uhm..... just a little bit of fever. I'm okay but"
"Evie, I think you should take rest. I'll go and complete the procedures, I'll tell Sarah to catch a bus"
"Oh no please! I'm okay! I don't want Sarah to face inconvenience. I'll be there. Don't worry"
"Are. You. Sure?"
"Yes I am! You be there soon! I don't wanna be there alone with Harry" or do I want to? Why do I start thinking about him always.
"I'll be there soon! Take care" saying this he ended and I moved to Harry's office.
