Part 15: Accident

*Evelyn*
Finally we were home. Home sweet home. I was missing the fun in Paris already. Especially Nicole's jealous face. After getting back to NYC, the life has filled up with hustle again. All the business pressure has again sat on Harry's head. I have to find a job for me now. I'm done with my studies so I wanna do a job till my exam results come and I get my degree. I'm not gonna tell Harry about this because I know he won't allow. I'm just doing this so that I won't get bored up and don't wanna sit empty head.

After few days of finding job, I got an appropriate job in a book store near by. I love that place. I love reading a lot. It's silent and also the customers will be Pleasant people.
That's the perfect is place for me.

I was thinking about how am I gonna tell Harry about this. Then I thought that if Harry is gonna be half day in the office only then why not do that job behind his sense. No! Wait! My unconscious sense slaps the thought off and tells me not to hide anything from Harry.
Since the day I proposed Harry is being normal. His love and care has increased a lot. If I hide this from him, maybe his trust will break. No I'm gonna tell him about this job and beg before him to let me do it.

I was in my way at home and suddenly Harry called. Oh my love! I was just thinking about you and you called! I immediately parked my car at the roadside and picked his call.
"Harry?"
"Hey, I was just missing you a lot so I called. Are you busy?"
"Of course not Harry! What is my love doing?"
"In my cabin, checking all the presentations"
"Harry you work so hard! This is your age to roam around and enjoy your life. But you are working so hard. I love you!!!" I said in a quit tone.
"I enjoy my work. Plus I have a partner like you who always makes my mood happy and make me relax after all that long day"

"I can't say how precious and important you are for me. Thanks for coming into my life and making it best!" He added
"Harry.....I love you too.....please come soon today.....major missing you!!! Just wanna roll in your arms and spend time with you" I said being little sad because I was missing him too much.
"Ya just a few more hours and I'll be home!"
Listening this I nodded.
"Evie?"
"Yeah?"
"Why are you so silent?"
"I just nodded!"
He laughed listening this.
"How can I see you nod when we are on call" he kept laughing.
I immediately bit my tongue listening it.
"I'm so sorry" and I also laughed.
"You are so cute!" He exclaimed while making that slow laugh voices.
"I just love you for this!!" He added.
I was just gonna reply him but suddenly my eyes went on the car's side mirror and I saw a car coming towards me from behind in full speed.
"Harryyy!!" I screamed in fear while looking in the mirror .
The Car was in full speed and I was coming for me. But before I could unbelt the seat belt and get out of the car, the car badly crashed straight into me. My car just drifted away for meters and crashed on the road divider in full force.
Because of the high inertia, my body jerked and I straight away banged my head on the steering wheel.
"Evie!!! Evieeeeee!!" I heard Harry screaming on the phone before I went unconscious.

*Harry*
"Haarrryyyy!!" Evie screamed and I could feel the fear in her voice.
"Evie!!! Evieeeee!!" I screamed back! Just after a second I heard something crashing badly. Then just after 3 seconds, I again heard a crash. I immediately stood up.
I was shattered listening that.
"Evieee!!!! Please respond!!! Are you okay!! Evieee!!!!!"
"For God's sake please talk to me!!!"
I as soon as possible got into my car and traced Evie's location and drove fast to her. I also informed the police about it and they were on the way to Evie.
I was shaking badly. What the hell was that crashing sound. I just hope Evie is okay and not a single scratch she has. I hope her phone made that voice and it's damaged. I was waiting for any call on my phone, expecting its Evie and tell me she is okay.
Tears started rolling down my eyes.
Suddenly my phone buzzed.
I picked it immediately.
"Hello?!"
"This is officer Smith, we found your wife sir"
"How is she? Please give her the phone!"
"She won't be able to talk to you, she has met an accident and she has badly banged her head on the wheel. She is unconscious and we are now taking her to the hospital nearby! I'll send you the address please reach there as soon as possible" I was blank listening this.

*Evelyn*
"Now she is out of danger. We have supplied the blood to her body and she will be conscious anytime"
I slowly opened my eyes and saw a nurse Standing besides me. I rolled my eyes and saw Aunt Ivory seating near me while holding my hand.
"Ha....Harry" I was too weak to say a whole word.
"Evie!!! You're awake! Dontor!" Aunt Ivory shouted and a doctor entered the room.
I didn't know what was going on.
All I can remember is a car intentionally crashed into mine, I badly banged my head on the wheel and I don't know what happened next. I could feel something burning on my forehead. I looked at my hand and saw needles into it. I was in a hospital. Harry must have brought me here.
Now I understood everything. A doctor was checking my pulse and heart beats.
I opened my eyes fully and could hear and see everything clearly.
"How are you feeling now?"  The doctor asked.
I wanted to see Harry. Where he is. I can't see him in the room.
"Where is Harry?" I asked looking at the door and ignored the doctor.
"Evie, calm down! He has went downtown to bring your essentials" Aunt Ivory replied and then she looked at Uncle Tom being nervous. I was still feeling week and was in pain.
"Now she is okay, I'll discharge her in 24 hours" The doctor said and went outside the room.
"Aunt please....please call Harry, I....I want to talk to him" I said and was getting impatient now.
I just need to see Harry!
Then she again looked at Uncle Tom.
Uncle Tom dialled the call.
"Oh okay! She is waiting!" He said these words and ended the call.
"He is own his way!"
"Why did he go! Harry!" I groaned.
"Evie. Calm down and please take rest. Just close your eyes and sleep" aunt said while running her fingers through my hair.
I needed Harry's hug. A tight hug. I was in pain.
I decided to wait for Harry and don't know when I felt asleep looking at the door.
