Dear Diary, when i went to grandma's house today, i discovered something. Let me tell you how it goes. When i reached her house, i knocked on the door and entered. She was sitting on the sofa and wiping her tears. I got concerned and asked her what was wrong. She said that she was fine. I thought that maybe she was missing my grandfather who died of a heart attack last year. I told her that i was hungry and she went to the kitchen to warm me up some food. I saw an old photo album next to where she was sitting. I opened it and began to flip through the pages. There were photos of her and my grandfather, photos of me as a baby and photos of my father. All of us were looking so happy and everybody was smiling, but one photo caught my eye. It was a picture of my father on his wedding day. Next to him was his bride, but it wasn't my mother. It was another beautiful woman.
I flipped to the next page and there were more photos of those two. Photos of them eating ice cream, lying on the grass etc. As i was looking at those photos, my grandmother came in with a warm bowl of porridge. Guiltily, i shut the album but she had already seen. She told me i was old enough and i had to know something. The woman i was seeing in those photos was my actual mother. She died just after i was born. I could not believe it. The woman i had been living with was not my mother instead my actual mother was long dead. I asked grandma how this woman i call 'mother' came into my life and how my father died, but she said it was a story for another time. She sent me to go home since it was getting late. I asked her for a photo of my actual mother and my father andshe gave me the one of their wedding day. After that i went home.
