Chapter Four

I woke up this morning feeling drowsy and tired. I still have last night in my head. Should I tell Nii-san what happened or keep it to myself? I tell Nii-san everything but this seems too serious to share.

"Miyuki, your awake?", asks Nii-san. His voice came from the bathroom.

"Yeah I'm awake Nii-san." I reply.

Nii-san came out of the bathroom with the toothbrush in his mouth. "Good, so now you can tell me why you have a red rose on your night stand!", yelled Nii-san angrily. "Who came in the house last night! Who touched my little sister!"

Nii-san starts rolling up the sleeves of his shirt.

Shit. I forgot Sasuke gave me a rose last night! I have to think of something.....

"No one came here last night Nii-san! I swear!", I say innocently. He gave me the squinty eyes.

"Then why is there a red rose on your desk?", he says sternly.

Think Miyuki. Think.

"I picked it from the bush outside Nii-san.", I say quickly." It's blooming season." Nii-san got a anime light bulb above his head.

"Oh yeah! It is blooming season!", he says in surprise. " I should get some flowers for Sakura-chan!"

"That's nice and all but we have to head to the bridge Sensei wanted us to meet for our training, Nii-san.", I say. Nii-san anime cried. I sweatdropped.

"Let's go Nii-san." , I say bluntly.

Nii-san and I head to the bridge to meet up with everyone. By the time we got there, Sakura and Sasuke was there but not Kakashi Sensei.

Oh no. Sasuke is here. Act normal Miyuki.

"You two were almost late," Sasuke says as he stares at me. I sweatdropped.

"Aren't we always?", I retorted.

Sasuke smirks. I think Sakura saw Sasuke's interest in me because she quickly grabbed on to his arm and pulled him close to her. Nii-san anime fell and I just jumped into a tree minding my own business. I could care less about her love for Sasuke.

"HE'S LATE AGAIN!", Nii-san and Sakura says in unison. I sweatdropped. This is the second time he's late. Again.

I look down at my brother panicking because Sensei isn't here yet and I notice Sasuke is staring at me.

Why me.

I motioned for him to come up in the tree with me so we can talk. Sasuke smirked at me, forced Sakura off of him, and within seconds he was right next to me with a goofy smile of his face.

"Are you nervous Sasuke?", I say laughing. I can feel Sakura's eyes glaring at me.

She's jealous. Ha!

" I'm kind of nervous, I mean, your brother is right down there," he says nervously.

"It's not like he's going to take it the wrong way, he knows I don't like you at all whatsoever.", I say coldly.

"Wow, well that hurts Miyuki," he says with a frown on his face.

Did I seriously make him sad?

"Don't take it to heart Sasuke, I have a somewhat interest in you but my brother doesn't know that so you're good.", I say doubtfully.

"Did you start having an interest in me since last night?", he asks in a serious voice.

"Actually, before that.", I say. " I've had an interest in you for a while now but it doesn't mean it's going to be more than that since last night."

Sasuke smirks at my response. " I can change that," he says slyly.

"HEY! SASUKE! GET AWAY FROM MY SISTER!," Nii-san yells. Sasuke and I sweatdropped.

"It's fine Nii-san, we are only talking.", I say calmly.

Nii-san gave Sasuke the squinty eyes. "I'm watching you Sasuke.", Nii-san says sternly. Sasuke does his usual "Hn" and smirked.

Oh boy.

Kakashi Sensei poof on the edge of the bridge looking at us with his one uncovered eye. "Yo.", he says blunty.

"WHERE WERE YOU! YOU'RE TWENTY MINUTES LATE!", yells Sakura and Nii-san angrily. Kakashi Sensei smiled.

"I saw a black cat crossing the road-"

"YEAH RIGHT! ", screamed Nii-san and Sakura-chan in unison. Kakashi Sensei and I sweatdropped.

"Let's begin the training, shall we?", Kakashi Sensei smirks.
