Chapter Nineteen

We were suppose to meet Kakashi Sensei at the bridge because apparently he wanted to see us today. I was already there sitting on a branch in a nearby tree. I drifted to thinking about Kiba. Yesterday night when I kissed him, I felt something more than just a kiss. It felt more as if I liked him, even just the faintest.

Just then, Sasuke walked into view on the bridge, leaning against the bridges fence. I really didn't want to see him right now, especially when I'm thinking about Kiba.

He kept looking around as if he was looking for someone. Then he looked directly at me in the tree and smirked.

Oh boy what is he planning.

In an instant, Sasuke was crouching down in front of me with that stupid Uchiha smirk of his. I just want to punch it off of his face. But I won't.

"What's up Mi-chan." He teased. I grew an irk mark.

"If you just came up here to mock Kiba then I'd advise you to leave." I hissed.

"I just want to know what you guys were doing last night." He slowly became angry. I knew exactly what he was talking about. The kiss.

"We were having a good time watching the fireworks just like everyone else, Sasuke."

"Oh really? Last night I saw you two kiss!" he growled.

"Why does it matter to you?! You had a date last night with Sakura. I didn't even have a date because you were avoiding, and ignoring me for a week. So I got tired of your shit and left you. I wasn't about to let you ruin my night and Kiba made my night the best ever." I argued. Sasuke clenched his teeth and balled up his hands in a fist.

"Why did you even bother choosing him. I'm the one that truly loves you."

"You...love..me? Obviously you don't because when I told you about my dreams when I was in the hospital, after that you stormed off and ignore me and avoided me. If you truly did love me then you wouldn't have acted like that. I can't say that I don't still have feelings for you but  we would never get back together. And I mean it."

Sakura and Naruto came to the bridge and the still pissed off Sasuke went back down to lean against the fence. He didn't wipe that irritated look off of his face either. I sighed. He keeps forgetting that it's his fault.

An hour or two later, Kakashi Sensei came into view. If my eye sight is correct, I think he bought the new 'Icha Icha' book that just arrived at the book store already. I sweatdropped. He was reading that pervery book, knowing he told us to come here.

"YOU LATE!" Sakura and Nii-san yelled.

"Well you see, a black cat crossed-"

"You already used that excuse before!" They spat. Sensei nervously rubbed the back of his head and gave his signature closed eye smile.

"Well what I wanted to tell you guys today is that, you are all participating in the Chuunin Exams." Sensei passed out the papers to the three. For some reason, I have a gut feeling that something is wrong.

"Ne, what about Miyuki's paper?" Sakura questioned. Sasuke seemed interested in the topic.

"Well there can only be three on a team...." He trailed off. " She's taking it alone."

"What?! You can't do that Sensei! I'm not letting my little sister go by herself?!" He argued.

"This is what the Hokage ordered, Naruto." Kakashi poofed away. Nii-san looked angry and stomped off somewhere. Sakura looked skeptical about taking the Exam and Sasuke looked lost in thought.

"Here's your paper, Miyuki." Kakashi Sensei handed to me and I looked up at him.

"Sensei, I know why I am taking it alone." I muttered. His eyes widened.

"It's because of my Tailed Beasts isn't it? And my Father's appearances in my conscience. You know my Father is still alive right Sensei?"

"We have to tell the Hokage immediately." He grabbed my hand and we both poofed in front of the Hokage's huge double doors. I sighed. Sensei knocked twice and we entered after we heard the muffled 'enter'.

"Ah what brings you here, Kakashi and Miyuki?" He let a puff of smoke escape his mouth.

"Miyuki has something to tell you." Sensei replied. I mentally cursed his name in vain.

"What is it Miyuki?" He asks.

"Well you know about my dreams seeing my Father and all right?" He nodded.

"Well the last time I spoke to him, he told me he was alive...." His eyes widened and the pipe in his mouth fell on his desk.

"We can't let anyone know about this or it can cause chaos in the village. This is to be kept top secret. Understand?" I nodded.

Little did we know, Orochimaru heard every word of it. Now he has two people to capture, Uzumaki Miyuki and Uchiha Sasuke.

Sorry this chapter is short. I meant for it to be short for the next chapter when Team Seven meets the Sand Trio. I wanted that chapter to have it's own and it'll be longer than this one.
