Chapter 5

A/N: hey guys by the way I just started to work on my laptop. I'm also using Grammarly to help with any spelling or grammar mistakes. So my stories should be muuuuch better!

The car ride to your home was mostly silent. Evan tried to crack a few jokes to lighten up the mood but to no avail. Reaching the home as soon as your feet touched the cold ground you were engulfed in a tight hug. Your mother sobbing as she clung to you, "I missed you so much." she was just sobbing. You hugged back happily if it weren't for Evan you would still be trapped in that dark forest, nowhere to run stuck with him forever until you eventually died. The thought of this bringing you to tears. What type of monster would do that? clip a bird's wings so they couldn't fly to freedom. Something about that man though...was familiar. You couldn't quite put your finger on it.

Eventually, your mother let you go, pushing you into the house rather roughly as if keeping you outside any longer would result in your death or disappearance. After much tears and hugs, you eventually got into the shower. the warm pellets of water running down your chest back and hair soothed you. The warm steamy air creating a peaceful aura as you hummed along to a song. your (H/C) hair stuck to your body slicked down by the water. Twisting the knob you turned off the shower. you tentatively stepped onto the cool floor wrapping a warm towel over your chilled body. Slowly opening the door you walked out into the hall the steam exiting the bathroom as the cold air rushed in eager to chill the room as well.

after you had changed into some comfortable clothes you relaxed on your bed happily. 'time for some TV.' your lips curled into a happy smile as you browsed for a moment before pulling up a show that peaked your interest. you were watching happily until you heard a loud bang from the window as something crashed though. Soon you heard a familiar voice speak
"Hey, did you miss me?"
