Chapter 2: Candy's Burgers and Fries

Naomi looked at the advertisement. She needed the money, or they would be living on the streets. She decided to apply. She walked out to tell Jacob that she would be trying out for the job. "Are you sure? People say that that place has similar history to Freddy's, and remember what Merrick and Caitlyn said about their experience there?", he said. "Yeah, Caitlyn made friends with one of the animatronics, Freddy, or was it Foxy?", she said. "It was Foxy!", called Merrick from down the hall. "Still, I don't think that you should go.", Jacob said, concerned. "Look, Jacob, I know you're worried about me, but I'll be fine, ok? Besides, Merrick survived, didn't he?", she said, attempting to reassure her boyfriend. "Yeah, because of Foxy.", he replied. Naomi sighed. "We need the money, or we'll be living on the streets. And I'll bring Kamara with me, if it makes you feel any better, ok? I'm doing this for all of us.", Naomi said with confidence. Jacob finally gave in. "Fine, but please bring Kamara with you, and bring your flashlight, we don't know if they provide you with one, ok?", he said, Naomi agreed and called up Kamara. "Kamara," she said, "we're going to Candy's." As she was leaving, she have Merrick and Jacob a wink. "I'll be fine, ok? Don't worry you two.", she said as she walked out to meet up with Kamara.

2 hours later
Naomi and Kamara drove into the parking lot of Candy's Burgers and Fries. They stared at the building. "So.... this is the rival of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, huh?", said Kamara. "Yep.", replied Naomi. "I actually used to come here when I was younger." "You did?", asked Kamara in amazement. She had never heard Naomi talk about her ever going to Candy's. "Yeah, I loved the animatronics more than I loved the animatronics at Freddy's.", Naomi said. She thought back, trying to remember the names of the animatronics. "There was Candy and Cindy, the main two, brother and sister. I always loved Cindy with her burger. Then there was Chester the Chimpanzee. He has his own stage and his own scheduled shows. I've only ever seen a few of them. And finally, there's Blank. Odd name, I know. He's ment to be an animatronic for kids to draw on. I remember drawing a picture of Freddy on one of his shoulders, I wonder if it's still there.", Naomi finished. Kamara nodded. "Ok, now let's get you that job and make some money!", she said. Naomi nodded and they went inside. Inside they saw Candy and Cindy on stage. They, however, needed to go to the manager's office. "The information window is over here somewhere, I think.", said Naomi, leading the Kamara through the main show area and to a hallway. They saw the window and headed for it. "Excuse me, I'm here to apply for a nightgaurd position.", Naomi politely said to the person at the window. "Oh! Well, no one else applied for it, so I guess you're hired!", said the woman at the desk. "Oh! Well that's good, because I need this money.", she said. "Oh, and by the way, is it ok if I bring my friends here with me?", she said, gesturing to Kamara, who waved. "Oh, of course!", said the woman. "All I need you to do is sign here, and you're officially hired! Your shift starts at 12 AM and ends at 6 AM.", she said. Naomi nodded and signed the paper. "Is there anything else I need to know?", she asked. "There will be pre recorded message telling you about your job when your shift starts.", the woman said. "You can get your uniform in the storage room by Chester's area." "Ok, thanks!", said Naomi. "I'll text Jacob and let him know that you got the job. You go get changed.", said Kamara as she pulled out her phone. "Ok.", said Naomi, and she went to get her uniform and change.
