Bad at Love // Brikey

Mikey Barone was a very kind, smart, handsome guy who was also popular. Everyone loved to talk to him as he was a great listener and could keep a secret. He was out and his bestfriend Nicole was right there when he did.

Bryce Hall was the opposite. He was not so smart but popular enough to get the smart kids to "help" him out, he was somewhat nice but could be a dick at times but with his looks he could get by with anyone. He was also out with the help of his bestfriend Nick.

Mikey walked into school with Nicole right by his side. Many people stare at the two but he's just gotten used to it.

"Wanna come over today?" Nicole said.

She waited for his response but noticed he was staring Bryce.

"Just go talk to him."

"What would I say to someone like him?"

"Idk maybe a hi or what's up?"

"It's not that easy Nicole."

"I don't understand. Mikey your one of the most popular guys here. He is gay after all so just go for it."

Mikey turning around to stare at Nicole.

"Maybe one day but let's get to class before we're late."

They took off to first period.

Bryce's POV

I saw Mikey walk in with Nicole. Damn he's so hot but he'd never go out with a guy like me. I just stare at the boy they call Mikey.

Nick noticed Bryce staring at Mikey.

"Just go talk to him."

"He would never talk to someone like me."

"How do you know that?"

"We're part of two different groups. It would never work out."

"Hey they always say opposites attract. And he just so happens to be gay."

Bryce thought about what Nick just said as he turned around to see Mikey walking away.

"Maybe one day but until then i'll try to become friends."

The bell rang and off they went. Now the hallways once filled with teenagers were now empty.
