Sydney Mega Day

"Kat you must get ready for school if not you are going to get detention. Selena is already here to pick you up" shouted my mom.
How come people don't know the difficulties of a girl to choose what dress to wear. After a few minutes I found the sweater and wrapped it around myself. I ran downstairs snatched a bagel, kissed mom goodbye, hopped into Selena' s car munching my breakfast. We drove through the lane at high speed to avoid Miss Aruna's wrath. Oh, well she is our Math teacher and is quite kind. I love her classes but hate her when she gets angry. "Kat you okay?" asked Selena. She is my best friend since Kindergarten. "I am fine" I said. "Well I like your chain. Where did you get the locket from". "Um does it matter coz I bought it from LA bcoz people were saying to me it was the ugliest pendant ever found on Earth but it attracted me like a magnetic force, WEIRD isn't it? However it's my moms gift to me partially because I have been asking for it for years" I said.
By the time ""Oakridge International School"" sign popped up. I sighed but I was also relieved as there are less possibilities for a detention after all. We made our way to the locker. I typed in 210228 and it unlocked. I took out my Maths book while I heard a few popular girls speaking about a new guy who will be entering our school. I shut the locker and went with Selena to Miss Aruna's class. She was asking us to complete an algebra sum when the door opened our class teacher Mr Rajan came in followed by 4 students. They were to say hilarious as the first was flirting a lot and the second one was okay but the other two girls were completely stupid. They must be brothers and sisters of some sort maybe. They introduced themselves as Jake Flash, Denver Mike, Fiona Tarren and Brianna Santee. Selena has almost fallen for Jake as she was staring at him mouth opened. Why does she have such bad tastes. Then something stupid happened which I thought was my imagination playing around. The Jake guy winked at me. I frowned and turned away. Selena looked at me in an awkward way after our class. "What?" I asked " Did he wink at you" she asked. I just shrugged my shoulders. Classes went on and honestly I slept during chemistry. As the bell rang Selena dragged me out into drama hall. "What's wrong with you we gotta go home." I said. She slammed the door shut and said that she enrolled my name for the singing show. "Are you crazy?" I said " Well that's not the best part it's that you are paired with Denver Mike the new guy".
