NEXT SONG BY KAITLYN AND DENVER
I was quite nervous. All girls were in ball gowns. O just came in my tops and jeans with my hat on. I didn't see any of the new people when I entered the hall until Denver made his way to the stage. He was wearing black suit. I made my way to the stage. All girls were snickering at me while boys were staring at me mesmerised. I went at the front. The music started to play. I knew that Denver was dedicating this song to Selena which Selena didn't know. He flew into the first verse.
Everybody gets high sometimes you know. That's how we learn and how we grow... he went on. I got this weird feeling. The pendant in my chest started getting cold. It was damn cold it literally froze my heart. I laid a hand to my chest. I stumbled and fell down. Someone caught me. I saw a blurred image of Jake and then everything went black.
A FEW HOURS LATER
My eyes started to flutter open. I could make out few shapes. One was sitting at my bed and other both were standing by the window. I opened my eyes and waited for it to adjust according to the light. Denver was standing by the window mumbling to himself. Jake sitting by my bed had his eyes fixed on me. I tried sitting up but my head was throbbing a lot. "Woah there" Jake mumbled lifting me carefully and placing me on the edge of the bed. "Where am I?" I asked. "In the Patient Room of Deleno" Jake replied. Where is Deleno? I asked. Denver turned "Look Kaitlyn this maybe a story kids believe but we have no time for it. We want the pendant hanging in your neck. If you refuse to give a world of children and Adults die." "What are you talking about?"I asked. "Denver I will explain her" Jake said. He was saying me about the immortal world he ended now if the pendant hanging in your neck is not replaced back within five more weeks the people will die. They can't last without their power". He ended. It was more for me to take in but I still refused "You don't understand, if I give this away I lose my mom. I already know about your world but my mother was on the verge of dying I consulted many doctors but no one was able to cure her then I came across a girl who said me about this pendant she said the person taking the pendant from the stand belongs to the person forever and the person is it's master so can ask for anything to the flower. The flower lends it power to the person forever but once the flower is taken away from the person it goes away with the gifts it gave. Which means I will lose my mother most importantly but I don't want that to happen." I said everything. He was staring at me wide eyed.
