SIRIUS
Different names
Varying in brightness
They dot the dark horizon.
Everybody speaks of the stars
Of how they light up the night sky
Everybody writes
Of their beauty as they shine togetherBut I?
I will talk about only one.
And that is the brightest of all
For the others dull in comparison
To the light I see in your eyes,
To your laughs that color your cheeks,
And to your smile that chases my fears away.
