Then, she speaks
Her voice soft and slow
She tells you her name
And for now, that's all you'll knowII. LUNA CRESCENS
A thin smile of light begins to appear
As you look up at the night sky
That's when she starts to show you
All she's been hiding inside
That's when you know
That she wants to be seen.
Always been a quiet child
They all say she should make her voice be heard.
But she starts to show that sliver of light
She tries, oh she tries
To show herself, little by little.
Putting down her walls because
They told her they couldn't read her
"Soon," she thinks.
But for now, all you shall see
Is that thin smile
A small sliver of light
In the broad horizon.
