And when you enter the room,
There's a girl hidden from view.
You walk past her, oblivious.
For she wasn't visible...yet.I. LUNA SILENS
Her face is shadowed, hidden from view
You wouldn't know of her presence, for you cannot see.
Your eyes were made for all things bright
And she was dark and invisible.
This is her youth, she needs your patience
And the night is dark for she is not herself.
You turn away without a second glance
From the queen of the night skies
Yet she remains to watch over the world
Until the sun comes to shine again.
They say light glows brighter with age
And she is a newborn child
Floating above this mess of a world
To watch people who cannot see
Come and witness the beginning of a cycle.
