What ?! Miller's words hit me like a truck. She couldn't say that. Not now that I can finally understand the feelings I have for her . As a friend or not .

I was so shocked 'cause I didn't think Miller would do anything like that. I guess I should know that the ones you know the most will hurt the most.

The bell rings and I find myself in the crowded halls ... Again . The worst feeling is the one that you are alone , in a room full of people.

The only person that I openly talk about my problems is my dad... All about him inspires me so obviously I don't even hesitate to grab my phone and call him.

 Call on

" Dad ... Hi"

"Shawn are you okay ?"

" Yeah dad ... The best I've ever been..."

" Son I may not be in town for some weeks but I know when my own son is not that well." 

"Dad ..."- My voice trembles- "There's some things going on ... And I miss my dad..."

"Shawn, stay with me... Everything will be alright and I know I haven't seen you lately but you're always on my mind" 

"Thanks dad ... I've got to go now "

" Son give your mom and sister  a kiss for me , and try to distract yourself until I come home okay?"

Call off

Instead of going to class my foot decide that my destination was the music room. Sometimes I understimate my body . That some how knew that what I needed was music to calm me down.

I sit in a stool and grab a guitar and I think ... Lately my life has been crazy. With school , music and football it has been hard to balance it all with family and even love. Yeah I know " How can a jock do anything but be popular and play games ?!" , I've heard this ones before. Unlike most jocks I like to study and have more of my life than just that.

  Stop, take it in

These days are flying by
Weeks feel like minutes
I can't remember being small
I try to figure it out
I can't seem to find out how
I guess I don't know much at all
